MODA is a non-profit student organization at the University of Chicago. It began in 2003 with the intention of showcasing fashion on campus, promoting the city’s fashion scene, and being a resource for students interested in fashion. Through our Designer Bootcamp program, on- and off-campus fashion events, quarterly magazine, and daily blog, MODA has established itself as one of the most prominent organizations at the University of Chicago. In partnership with industry professionals, corporate sponsors, and the media, MODA strives to connect the University of Chicago community to the greater Chicago and nationwide fashion scenes.

MODA’s Spring Fashion Show is an annual branded fashion fete. The event provides opportunities for fashion designers and sponsors to come face-to-face with principal tastemakers, media, and young and affluent consumers. Activities include:

This year MODA will return to Union Station for its signature 10th annual event. Attracting an affluent student body and wide off-campus audience, this event provides unparalleled opportunities for brands to attract and interact with millennial consumers.

Pre-Show Reception, 8-9 Capacity of 1200 Fashion Show, 9-10 Capacity of 1200 After-Party, 11-2 a.m. Every year, an official MODA after-party is held at one of Chicago’s most celebrated entertainment venues. In the past, it has been hosted and sponsored by the legendary Chicago Underground, 8fifty8, and Lumen.

Union Station, Chicago: The Great Hall at Chicago Union Station is the ideal location for large special events, combining versatile room configurations with the convenience of a centrally located and accessible downtown venue. Additionally, opening onto the Great Hall is the Union Gallery, a beautiful 3,500-square-foot room, ideal for pre-show VIP receptions.
