Belize has it all… a 240 mile Caribbean coastline, an archipelago of small islands, and the longest living (we don’t actually know if it’s the longest living, as there might be cold water reefs that live longer than any tropical / ocean reefs – this should be verified by a credible source. However, what the Belize Barrier Reef is for sure is: second largest barrier reef in the world, it’s the largest reef system in the Northern Hemisphere, and the largest living reef) coral reef in the world abounding with multitudes of colorful fish, flora, and home of protected species of sea turtles, manatees, mild mannered nurse sharks and even stingrays.

Zanzibar’s mystique began with the phenomena of the archipelago’s geologic creation, its future in history destined to become a haven for traders bringing spices and goods from the Far East to Africa and Europe, and a port for slave traders headed to America. Shrouded in secrets and mysteries, sultans and sailors, fishermen and fortune seekers, Zanzibar has now become a favorite destination of tourists seeking the tranquil natural beauty of sparkling white sand beaches, the playground of warm ocean waters, waving palms, and the wafting scents from spice plantations carried on gentle ocean breezes. Its shores welcome travelers before they set out on a safari to discover Tanzania’s beautiful wildlife in the amazing Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater, to climb Mt. Kilimanjaro, sail Lake Tanganyika, or see the site of Louis Leakey’s famed discoveries of earliest human life.
