Q: What is the inspiration behind your line Hemant & Nandita?
A: Our inspiration has always been India and its diverse culture. The architecture, the people, the religion and the colors have molded us into the people we are today. All of it makes its way into our collections in some way or another.

Q: How would you describe your latest collection?
A: The Summer 2019 collection is inspired by Jaipur and its magnificent architectural designs and opulent artwork. The garments flawlessly capture the warmth and richness that the old city has to offer. The prints are reminiscent of the artwork in the majestic forts that are adorned in flowers and motifs.

A: #HNGirls are free spirited and culturally bohemian with a playful intellect who want to live life with a carefree abandon!

A: For us, every little step we take feels like an achievement. Whether it’s finishing a collection beforehand or receiving compliments for our garments online, we take pride in all our successes.

A: There are 5 steps that we follow:
1. Research: Looking for inspiration and deciding what mood we want to create.
2. Colors: What palette we want to use and what fits the season.
3. Silhouettes: What bodies we want to use.
4. Prints: What we want to explore.
5. Execution: How we want to style and shoot the garments.
