Waves Are On

I’ve celebrated Galentines for years whether single or with someone. Love should be celebrated all the time; our world would be a lot better with it.

• Game night with trivia consisting of all things love, quotes, movies. Treats and eats include pink champagne, heart cookies, red hots, etc.

• Get a group of friends (single or taken), get all dressed up in pinks and reds and indulge in a fancy dinner with dessert and toasting to one another and friendship. True friendship is loving one another in the good, bad and ugly.

• Also, get little gifts for everyone when hosting, such as heart-shaped soaps, mini bottles of pink champagne, bubble bath, etc.

• Another thought, if you're single, treat yourself. You have to love yourself before you can be loved and you should celebrate it. By an inexpensive gift such as a massage, top, shoes or sometimes a splurge of a handbag or spa day.

• A way to share love for free is watching your friends' or loved one’s kids so they can have date night, plus being around a child’s laughter, love, and fun nature is contagious and can really brighten your mood.
