I’m Karla Stelling, a Graphic and Surface Pattern Designer based outside Washington, D.C. I was born and raised in Caracas, Venezuela, where my childhood home — adorned with Mid-Century Modern decor — sparked my love for bold shapes and vibrant colors. These influences inspire the geometric, and graphic designs I create today. With over 20 years of design experience, my eye-catching prints inject energy and personality to fabrics through my brand, Mod Ink. I enjoy projects ranging from home goods, and decor, gift wrapping, accessories, apparel, fabrics, and wallpaper.
