Wise Bodies: HIV/AIDS Awareness & Prevention

Multi-Award-Winning Series in Partnership with AIDS Healthcare Foundation and Endorsed by Broward County Public Schools

MODS partners with AIDS Healthcare Foundation (AHF) to provide high school and middle school learners with Wise Bodies, an actionable, factual and relevant HIV/AIDS awareness and prevention curriculum. Health and Wellness is a strategic pillar of MODS, and this program addresses the critical issue of HIV/AIDS in our community as an area with the highest rate of new cases in the country.

Launched on World AIDS Day 2020, the Wise Bodies curriculum is free from judgment and full of hope and encouragement. The program was strategically curated to champion learner empowerment. Through guided, open-minded discussions, project-based learning, compelling science demonstrations and empathy-building activities, Wise Bodies aims to leave no question unanswered.

Endorsed by Broward County Public Schools (BCPS) and Palm Beach County School District (PBCSD), the initiative has already been brought to thousands of learners, and with support from AHF, the impact will be further amplified to reach and inspire many more young minds. The Wise Bodies curriculum aligns with Florida State Standards and supports AHF’s mission to provide cutting-edge treatment and advocacy, regardless of ability to pay.
