frame membrane stracture
Reset border line Chuo line(train) and its fence goes straight. The fence is a border of roadway and street. But also become as a small garden, wall or frame of visual line. Draw a line of museum from the fence as it amplify to the site. Nakano town devided into 4 parts, railroad, fence, street and the museum. The museum became a new border line.

30 years, 100 years later... Now Kamisakunobe remains good food cycle, but we know that it is not easy to retain it. Vacant land change into building lots and shortage of successors and aging of the labor force are advancing. In addition, change of work style changed
family style.
Many students spending their time alone after school. Parents doesn't have enough time to talk and eat with them. The Kamisakunobe elementary shool has nursery to take care of them. Instead of parents an instructor watch over. The time of after school has great chance to make the relationship between children and people in this area. I will make a plan of Kamisakunobe elementary school one I graduated from, as a place for people join after school and have a dinner and talk together.

Migratory birds especially, swallows will come to Tokyo in the begininng of summer. They raise up their babies near human society in Japan and go back another country in fall. We and swallow both live in Tokyo no matter how long it is. The relationship between us and swallows symbolize the dobleness of Tokyo. From long time ago, swallow called as " GOD OF GRAIN". Because begininng of summer is an important season to raise up a rice, and swallows eat harmful insects. Unexpectedly, an area where rice is cultivated is same as where swallows live. Tokyo is one of the swallow's hometown and swallow is one of the creature that lives in Tokyo. Tokyo is momentary city where the temporary and permanent relationship cross.

One of the reason why the number of swallows decreace is the change of architecture design. Japanese building get westernized and the number of space under the eaves which called "Nokishita" made with Japanese framework design get decrease. The Nokishita is a spot between external and internal. Throught Nokishita people who live nearby can have relationship with swallows and exchange students.
In a research of JASSO, the number of exchange students who come to Japan get 3 times more in this recent 15 years. 15years

Even if they live in the short term, they are an important part of Tokyo. They cultivate rice and grows up with it. Rice shows up the barometer of result. After a year they go back to their country at the same time with swallows.

I was born and raised in Kanagawa, near Tokyo. I went to study abroad with AFS for one year to Rochester NY, USA during high school. I spent time in America with my host farther and Korean-Canadian host mother. After the exchange I kept volunteering as a student at AFS Japan, and mainly held orientation for highschool exchange students who will go abroad or just come to Japan. I entered Waseda university faculty of Creative Science and Engineering, and kept learning architecture in Apr 2013. Won a second prize in high school student digital photo contest produced by OLYMPUS. Keep taking photo since elementary school.
