WE’RE READY!

Last January social editor Ali Gray was strolling the Avenue and came across this piece of art installed by the Greenwich Arts Council, encouraging optimism for the new year. It resonates now as much as it did then. Spring always brings with it longer, sunnier days. But this year, putting the dark days of a cold winter behind us carries both literal and figurative meanings. As we begin to enter a post-Covid era, we enter it with gratitude for friends, family and community, strength to carry the lessons that we learned and, yes, hope for easier, gentler days. G
