Now, after the success of our most versatile and inclusive system, the Expedition 308i, Samson introduces its big brother: The Expedition 510i. Adopting the same principles of portability and simplicity that made the Expedition 308i so popular, the Expedition 510i (XP510i) is a comprehensive, all-in-one portable PA system that offers outstanding power and exceptional convenience. The newest member of the Expedition family boasts dual 2-way speakers with a 500 watt Class D powered mixer built right in. And once you’re ready to transport the system, everything packs up into a single unit that weighs just over 50 pounds! When clean, powerful sound is a must, the XP510i provides everything you need to make your performance memorable and professional. The speakers employ 10-inch woofers in 2-way vented enclosures, offering exceptional bass response and impressive dispersion in almost any type of room. The woofers are complemented by a 1-inch titanium tweeter in a custom 60° x 90° horn for complete room coverage. The result is full-range sound that’s ideal for presentations, musical performances, company meetings, outdoor functions, fitness clubs and corporate events. You can even tilt the enclosures back to use as floor monitors or use the integrated 1 3/8-inch speaker stand mounts to elevate the speakers to ear level. The built-in 10-channel mixer provides four mic/line inputs, three stereo inputs and phantom power for use with your favorite condenser microphones. There’s even an integrated iPod dock, so you can enhance any performance or presentation with background tracks or sound samples.
