HAND TOOL Lets you move a single page on the screen when the page does not fit the window. Drag the Hand tool in the direction you want to move the page. To follow the two-column format more easily in higher magnifications, use the Article Threads feature. Place the Hand tool pointer over the text of a column. The pointer changes to include a down arrow. Click anywhere in the text or press Enter to follow the text view by view. To exit an Article Thread, Click + Shift + Option (Macintosh) or Shift + Ctrl + Click (Windows).

MAGNIFICATION Allows for reduction (-) or magnification (+) of text and/or illustrations. You can also enter a value into the magnification box. CUTTING AND PASTING Use the Text Select tool to select text in a document, which can then be copied to the Clipboard by using the Copy command. From the Edit menu, select Copy. The Clipboard acts as a temporary storage for what was copied. You can now go to a word processing program and paste your selection. Use the Snapshot tool to select graphics in a document.

BROWSE TOOLS Lets you move forward or backward a single page at a time or move to the first or last page of a document.
