Rector’s Message

U

niversities are not only places where students have acquired fundamental and professional knowledge, but also places of developing their self-learning, using technology, being social and doing things in group, building up their critical thinking and questioning skills.

As the Rector JU, I am delighted to learn what JOBKEY University has achieved since its establishment in 2011. Undoubtedly, JOBKEY University is a remarkable academic institution offering quality-oriented and modern study programs. Courses range from Engineering, Information Technology, Agriculture, Business Management and Medicine and Health Science, education and social science – and we are eager to constantly extend our scope. JU is aiming at attracting the best students and the most qualified lecturers to continuously strive for excellence. Learning at JOBKEY University inspires and enables students to grow intellectually, to be well equipped for work life and to contribute effectively to society. The increasing number of co-operations with institutions in Africa, Asia and beyond offers great opportunities for both students and lecturers to gain firsthand experience. JU’s strong international focus makes students sensitive to other cultures and able to quickly adapt to multicultural working environments. To prepare for the rise of world society, we use English as language of instruction and offer practical and theory courses. JOBKEY University is transparent and accountable both externally to the public and internally to the university itself. Employability criteria and stakeholder requirements have guided the program developments. International links and partnerships set the quality standards. Academic freedom and ethics shape the academic and social life at JOBKEY University. We invite you to share our enthusiasm.

Prof. Abdiaziz Agane Abdisamed The rector

Academic Director’s message On behalf of entire JOBKEY University family, I extend a sincere congratulations and best of luck to the graduates of the university. You have been exceptional representatives of the University. I have no doubt that you will continue to serve as worthy ambassadors for the University by building upon our reputation for excellence. I believe that graduates from different faculties that, regardless of your chosen area of specialization, all of you have the opportunity to enrich the lives of those around you. As you embark upon and progress through your careers, I urge you to always remember why you chose your respective field and the sacrifices that you endured in order to make it happen: to serve our communities and improve the quality of life and health of its members with compassion, honesty and integrity. I would also like to give special thanks to the parents, spouses, children and friends of our graduates for their patience, understanding, sacrifices and support - both moral and financial - during these challenging, but rewarding, years at the university. Although your guidance, comfort and encouragement certainly will continue to be sought and appreciated in the years to come, you can rejoice in the gradual return to “normalcy with no more long nights of studying, get-togethers unattended and trips untaken. Yet, even more so, you can relish the shared feeling of pride in what your graduate has accomplished and the abundant opportunities ahead. In the coming years, I would ask that you not forget your school, former professors, and fellows and future Cougars. I encourage you to not only give back to JOBKEY by supporting the university activities, programs and scholarships, but also by keeping us updated on the many achievements you will experience in your careers and personal lives. We will always take great pride in your achievements. Congratulations again to the graduates of our professional and graduate programs. The entire Family is very proud of you. Take care,

Prof. Mohamed Hassan Doob Academic Director Jobkey University
