These are the architectural words that fascinates me to master about the architectural styles, design philosophies, critical regionalism aspects and historical of each countries ethnographic factors.

Having been brought up in a city of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia filled with plethora of Brutalist Architecture and Bauhaus-style buildings was the first step for me to understand architecture. Growing up by looking at the gigantic structures of Malaysia’s Houses of Parliament and National Bank of Malaysia building eventually stimulating my curiosity of the geometrical shapes of the building form. A visit to Istanbul when I was young had strengthen my mind to pursue architecture more seriously. Placing myself in the middle of the colonnades of Sultan Ahmet Mosque was the ultimate conviction for me to be in this profession. In the present day now, the meaning of architecture for me is not merely a problem solving only but has turned into more holistic approached with a sensible emotion that bridging between human and spaces. My infatuation towards minimalistic and fundamental Geometrical forms has awakened my own niche in my own design style derives from the quote by Tadao Ando that;

“If you give people nothingness, they can ponder what can be achieved from that nothingness.” Tadao Ando
