The Beginning of the year, MOI magazine was invited to so many functions that its June edition will come out in July. Nevertheless, we have decided to do a double submission, when ready, we will used them instead of waiting. for more submissions photos, letter, etc., This will alleviate more time wasted , as well as all of you from seeing this issue.

MOI magazine is excited to see the new collaborations of the March/April/May edition, with highlighted designers from New Orleans Fashion Week 2018 Candis Cullison, Carla Elese and Joyce Renas Pilarsky.

MOI is also very excited to show case two designers, Vanessa Winchester and De’Andre Beverly. Vanessa Winchester was also chosen for the March/April/May cover. We love her design and we cant wait to see more. The extravagant De’Andre Beverly who founded and created Southern Style & Comfort clothing line with model Tiffany Powell. Katheryn Elizabeth Hudson, better known by her stage name Katy Perry, has come a long way since her humble beginnings back in 2001. 2001-07 weren’t the best of years for Perry. Her debut album Katy Hudson was a commercial failure and received little press. The reviews that did come were favorable, but failed to generate any traction. Over the next six years, Katy worked on rebranding herself and released her sophomore album in One of the Boys in 2008.

Although the reviews were mixed, the album garnered two giant hits “I Kissed a Girl” and “Hot and Cold.” Those hits pretty well paved the way to the Perry we know today. Last year, Perry

released Witness and embarked on a world tour. The 106 date tour ends in August and made its way through New Orleans at the Smoothie King Center.

The show was nothing short of amazing. Perry pulled out all the bells and whistles. There were many costume and set changes, never leaving a dull moment. The twenty song set focused on the Witness album (10 tracks), but was also was chalked with all her hits. This tour by all means is a visual monster and is they definition of where Katy is now. Her empowering message with all the extras make any concert goer a bit happier for being there. The SKC show was no exception to that notion.
