For this mark, I used Baskerville and combined two of the lower case italic m’s. I think this is a fun mark, it is playful and captures who I am as a designer. It’s customized because of how the edges are curved in.

LOGO ONE:

In this variation I tried connecting the lines to make a point. Its like two little moutains, which made me laugh cause I’ve never been to the mountains. I like how you can see three m’s in it too.

I’m stuck on this triangle, negative space line thing. This one got really abstract, and you can’t really tell that it’s an m anymore. Which is okay I guess, but there are better ones that I’ve made.

For this one I got a little less abstract with it. I’m really really digging what is going on with this one. I think it clearly reads as m and you can see the three different ones. It can use a bit more refinement but liking it.

After making the last one, I decided to get a little werid with it, I went with the same concept of triangles and using lines for negative spaces to break it up. It still makes the three m’s but its not so obvious.

So this is getting really werid. For some reason I’m kinda feeling it. It doesn’t really read as m at all and I will likely not use it but I think it’s a cool mark, not sure what it would be used for but I dig it.

In this variation I enlongaged the legs even more to meet with the other serifs. I dont partically like this as much as the first one.

I took that werid one from the top left and tried extending the serif below it to make everything line up. I’ve a freak about everything lining up perfectly. I still don’t particularly like this.

Line it straight up and down. That sounded like a good idea. Then I did it. I’m not sure it was a good idea. It’s all lines up and everything which I dig, but its just to static. Gotta break it up somehow.

In this variation, I took an extra hump from a lower case m and shorted the legs. I don’t know how I feel about this nessasarly. There is something there but I think its kinda werid looking.

I went back to the same idea I have earlier because I was trying to convince myself I could fix it and make it look okay. I thought what if I just added an extra hump, but that just made it even werider. Maybe I should try a different closure method.

For this variation I got kinda decorative with it. I tried to enclose the lines and make the square. I like it but it would look werid if it was at a small size.

For this variation I wanted to make it feel more like it was two m’s so I added an extra line on top. I think this looks kinda nice, the contrast is kinda lacking though.

Similar to the other varition, I also wanted to see what this would look like mirrored but with the serifs. I think it reads more as m’s but it still doesn’t work that well because it reads as four m’s.
