This is a photo of Karlie Kloss from Vogue. I love this photo and think it is gorgeous. The dress she has on is beautiful and her body pose is just right. I think that this photo is effective because it shows how you can have a beautiful photo with it being so minimal.

This is another Vogue shoot with Carey Mulligan. This photo is so pretty. I love how she is looking at the camera after peaking through the window like she does not want to get caught. Her dress is absolutely beautiful. I think this photo is effective because you see how each piece is styled perfectly to show off the dress. The lighting and the minimal space make you turn your eye straight to the dress.

This is another shoot from Vogue providing a great example for editorial styling. I think this photo is effective because the umbrella and the two dresses go perfect with the white water and the sand. This photo gives off a great beach and family vibe. This is a beautiful photo and you can tell that everything was styled to match the location.

This is a recent spread from Harper’s Bazaar of Sarah Jessica Parker. I think that this is effective because it is so appealing to the eye. The color story is perfect along with the lighting.

This photo is a great example of commercial styling. You can see that this photo is focused on a simple family home and it is not high fashion. I think this photo is significant because it looks like it was taken in any house with any mother and daughter. This is what real life should look like.

This photo was also taken on location. This photo is effective because the model looks like she is an everyday girl walking around the city and the photographer just shot her; when really she was styled and this location was picked for this very photo.

This is a scene from the movie Under the Tuscan Sun and this was shot on a movie set. This photo is significant because I love the interior of this room and I also love that this was filmed on a movie set, not really a house in Italy.

This photo is significant because the main piece is a prop, a gun. Most shoots focus on clothes or on a model but this is focused on the main star of a crime scene, the gun.

Kim Kardashian as always had great style but this look looks like something I would wear. I love the color of this blazer. I think this look is effective because she is so small that the cinched sides bring her waist in and give her shape. Also the heels make her look a lot taller.

Kristen Cavalari is so pretty. I think that this look works for her because her waist is pulled in giving her a little bit of a waist and her legs look longer with the heels and skinny jeans.

Olivia Palermo always has amazing

style. I think this works because she

threw a bunch of different textures

in to all work together. Plus the

synched waist gives her a great

figure.

Rachel Bilson is one of my celebrity fashion idols. She is so small but she always dresses amazing no matter what she is doing. I think this look works for her because the shorts give her a nice waistline and their hem gives her great legs.

This photo is significant because this is off figure styling. This is what it looks like when you don’t have a mannequin to use or a body form.

This photo is so significant because this is also what figure styling is. This jacket is pinned to look like it is on someone and has a little bit of life.

This is another perfect example of off figure styling. These shirts are folded and bent to look like that are meant to be sitting on the lawn chair, even though they are really meant to be on whoever is sitting in the chair.

This is a great photo of food styling because it looks like someone is in the middle of baking and just took a picture. You want to eat the chocolate pieces right out of this photo.

This photo is significant because all of this looks real. This looks like the photo was taken in the middle of making this recipe.

This picture is beautiful! I love how the flame looks against the black table and how great the flowers look. This photo is so effective because its

so stunning and every piece is placed

just in the perfect way. Its a great

This is Serena and Blair form Gossip Girl. This show was one of the most stylish shows on TV at the time. Both of their looks work because they both have athletic builds and their synched waists help give them shape.

This photo of the Mad Men cast is significant because they look like they are really from the 1960’s, even though this show is being shot in 2014.

This is a scene from the TV show Hart of Dixie. This look is significant because her shorter pants make her legs look longer and the jacket cut at her waist gives her great shape.

This photo is significant because it photographs 4 iconic characters. This is from Sex and the City 2 and all four of these ladies are dressed beautifully and look awesome.
