PROJECT GOALS + DESCRIPTION

This project was a collaborative effort between architects and interior designers. Our topic of research was climate change in Greenland. My team’s goal was to design a new research facility near the previous Swiss camp location that ultimately failed due to the rapidly changing conditions of Greenland’s ice sheet This new facility had to stand up to forces the original station succumbed to while pursuing research around the rapidly changing environmental landscape. The facility is planned to be active for a minimum 10-year period.
