JUSTIFICATION • Eliminating shorts and long sleeve shirt • I decided to not rebuy the shorts and the long sleeve shirt. The shorts had a sell through of only 72% when the planned sell through was 80%. The long sleeve shirt performed at a 72% and 73% sell through when the plan was 85%. Every other piece surpassed or was very close to the planned sell through, so I decided to focus on the ones that performed very well and eliminate the ones that did not. •

The Colors • I decided to expand the colors in almost every category with the exception of the baseball tee. The baseball tee and its colors did very well the previous year, so I chose to keep those the same. I also kept many of the same colors with other pieces as well, such as the blazer and the polo. I did, however, expand in those areas as well. The only color the previous year for the blazer was khaki, which did very well, so I kept that. I also added a charcoal color that I thought would go well with the other color assortments. I added this charcoal to the trouser and the easy pant as well to keep the cohesion. I kept the color green for the easy pant since it performed well the previous year with an 87% sell through. However, I changed up the colors for the trouser. It performed decently last year with an 81% sell through, but I felt that a khaki and a charcoal would be better for the rest of the assortment, especially with the blazer.
