1.2MM BASE / Our US-made, Durasurf 4001 sintered bases take a beating while still staying fast. They are harder and have better wax absorption properties than extruded bases. We use sublimated graphics to eliminate the cracking and peeling common to die-cut bases. 1.8MM BASE / We use extra-thick Durasurf 4001 sintered bases throughout our park collection. They are made in the USA and have all the same great properties as our standard bases, plus added protection against rails and jibs. 2.2MM EDGE / We source our edges from Austria, from the ski industryâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s most-recognized edge manufacturer. They arrive pre-hardened to 48 Rockwell, and we perform additional heat treating in-house to adjust the hardness and ductility of the steel, ensuring you get the most life out of your skis. 2.5MM EDGE / Like our standard edges, these are 48 Rockwell-hardened Austrian steel, heat-treated in-house. The

added thickness helps protect our park skis from rails and jibs, and we have added an edge tuck under the base at the tip and tail for a stronger bond. They last longer and resist dents better than any edge we have ever used.

Ski tech and material descriptions

LAMINATES / We use fiberglass laminates to fine-tune the flex profiles of our skis. Triaxial fiberglass provides maximum strength and resistance against twisting. Biaxial fiberglass weaves are specific to longitudinal or torsional strength. Unidirectional fiberglass helps tune the longitudinal flex. By using different combinations and weave weights, we can perfect how our skis feel on the snow. CARBON FIBER / We use carbon fiber in all our skis, whether in the form of woven unidirectional stringers or carbon tow threads added to the laminate matrix. Carbon fiber helps tune and strengthen the skis while adding long-lasting pop and snap. Carbon is lighter and stronger than fiberglass, metal or basalt sheets. SIDEWALL / We use extruded UHMW Polyethylene for the sidewalls of all our skis. It is extremely light, durable, and resistant to separation. TOPSHEET / We use several types of nylon and thermoplastic topsheet materials, enhanced with sublimated graphics - a 100% acrylic slub yarn

RESIN / We developed the epoxy resin system that we use in every pair of our skis directly with our US supplier. Custom-formulated for flexibility, durability, and unmatched bonding strength, our resin is what keeps everything together, season after season.

CORES : The core is the heart of every ski. We source solid aspen, pine, and ash planks from the best FSC-certified lumber mills in the USA, mills that understand the high standard of top-grade clear wood that needs to go into our ski cores. Each Moment core consists of full-length vertical laminates, CNC machined in-house to the strictest possible tolerances. Forest Stewardship Certification means the wood in our cores comes from forests that are sustainably managed. ASPEN/ASH CORE : We use this combination in the skis that really take a beating. Ash provides amazing binding retention, strength and vibration damping. Aspen adds life and lighter weight to the core. ASPEN/PINE CORE : Used in combination, these two woods provide a strong core with a lively flex. Aspen keeps the ski light and poppy while pine adds strength and rigidity. CAMBER TYPES MUSTACHE ROCKER: Our Mustache Rocker profile does it all and does it all well. Positive camber underfoot provides power and edge hold on hard snow, while tip and tail rocker crush variable conditions and give you the loose, playful feel you want in powder. TRADITIONAL CAMBER: For park, pipe, and frontside carving, traditional camber remains the classic choice. Its spring-loading effect maintains edge pressure when the ski is flexed into an arc, then releases that energy to launch you into the next turn. FRONT ROCKER: For the directional charger, nothing beats Front Rocker. Traditional camber from the binding to the tail provides edging power and high-speed stability, while the rockered tip aids turn initiation, blasts through crud, and planes quickly in powder. TWIN ROCKER: Like nothing else youâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;ve ever experienced. Designed purely for deep-snow performance, Twin Rocker combines a flat camber profile underfoot with a rockered tip and tail. With no downward arc to catch an edge, a Twin Rocker ski can pivot, smear, and slide sideways at speed with complete confidence. Itâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s the way powder was meant to be skied. DIRTY MUSTACHE ROCKER: Prepare your face for meltdown. New for 2013, Dirty Mustache Rocker combines the carving power of traditional camber with the loose, playful feel of Twin Rocker. Underfoot, three areas of slight positive camber create pressure points that bite the snow when the ski is placed on edge. This effect is eliminated in deep snow, where the flat midsection combines with tip and tail rocker to let the ski pivot and smear with ease.
