To strip everything of affectation and giving it simple form and content. When this style was discovered, people have had too much of the classics and everything else. The previous art movements or styles that came before had a great role in having people strip all mannerisms of complexity and to leave behind all complex meanings in classic art in order to take on simplicity and Minimalism wasn’t just in their art work but also their daily lives. I see us today in a great need to take a gulp from the cup of Simplicity. Let’s bask a little from all types of complexity that life has given us. Let’s release all that is within ourselves in a bottle that is the legendary elixir of life and cast it far away until complexity no longer exists. Have you ever noticed that you often like a picture, artwork or an image without really knowing why? Minimalistic art can have that effect on you!
Minimalism stands for simplicity and in general uses very basic styles. Minimalistic art often brings out contradiction or contrast between two objects, this creates a dramatic effect. Images are an important feature in our existence; our memories are mostly built upon images, sounds, and scents. These days’ photography are an everyday and major part of our lives. Who is not on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter these days? For some photography is just fun, for some it is a passion and for others it is a profession. For me it has always been a passion, I count myself blessed that I work with what I truly love Gladly I am sharing a few minimalistic pictures that I took in Perm, Russia (my home town) during my last trip. With these images I try to show the essence of Minimalism. A simple setting can have a very big impact. Personally I like this type of photography; I think it is interesting and inspiring to be able to take simple things we see every day, and to show them in a different way. Often these kinds of pictures make you think, you stare at them and create your own meaning of it; this is very typical for Minimalism.

أننا في كثير من،هل الحظتم في أي وقت مضى آو عمل فني دون أن ندرك، األحيان قد نكون مثل صورة !؟ الفن االختزالي يمكن أن يحدث نفس التأثير علينا الفن االختزالي يمتاز بالساطه و بشكل عام يستخدم الفن. األساليب األساسية جدا للتعبير عن أي شيء االختزالي كثيرا ما يكوّ ن تناقض أو تباين بين أي كائنين . وهذا يخلق تأثير كبير، الصور هي ميزة هامة في وجودنا ؛ فذاكرتنا مبنية في فالتصوير. و الروائح، واألصوات، معظمها على الصور الفوتوغرافي في هذه األيام يعتبر جزء رئيسي من تويتر، من مننا ال يستخدم الفيسبوك. الحياة اليومية أو إينستاجرام في هذه األيام ؟ بالنسبة للبعض التصوير الفوتوغرافي هو مجرد متعة أما البعض اآلخر فيجدوا فيه االلهام وهو مهنة، بالنسبة لي فقد كان دائما شغفي. بالنسبة ألخرين وأنا أعتبر نفسي محظوظة ألنني أعمل في ما أحب، .و أرغب يشرفني أن أتقاسم بعض الصور من الفن االختزالي روسيا ( مسقط رأسي ) خالل، التي أخذت في بيرم مع هذه الصور حاولت أن أًظهر جوهر. رحلتي األخيرة صور بسيطة يمكن أن.البساطه في الفن االختزالي أنا شخصيا أحب هذا النوع. يكون لها تأثير كبير جدا وأنا أعتقد أنه من المثير لالهتمام و، من التصوير ملهم أت تكون قادر على تصوير األشياء البسيطة في كثير من. التي نراها كل يوم بطريقة مختلفة فالتحديق،األحيان هذه األنواع من الصور تجعلك تفكر فيهم وخلق المعنى الخاص بك هو الهدف من الفن .االختزالي

Cover Idea فكرة الغالف When it came to designing the cover, we decided to keep with the theme of the magazine and that was Minimalism. We wanted to convey 90D’s message in the most simplistic way possible and by utilizing a few symbols, we managed to bring it all into perspective. I made sure that, in the beginning of my journey to become a professional in this art, to learn every little detail there was about the camera and my passion for it had lead me to follow many special and well known photographers on the internet. From my perspective, the camera is not just a device to take pictures of what ever is around us and freeze them in paper but it is the greatest tool that has been invented to immortalize the most important moments of our lives.

It’s an experiment that I do, an attempt to try and extract the person and to look through the spot of color into what it has. It draws out a person through abstract shapes without any premade sketch. I almost depend on this concept in all my works, the spot of color is the starting foundation of all my artistic work whether it’s cultural or abstract.

POSTER DESIGN TUTORIAL In this tutorial, we’ll be learning how to create a minimalistic design in by Photoshop playing with stock photos, blend modes and filters. We will also use a paper texture to give a nice retro feel to our design. This tutorial was created by Abduzeedo for more go to: www.abduzeedo.com
STEP 1
In Photoshop, create a file that is 900x1440 pixels for the size. Fill the background layer with black and then go to Edit>Transform>Scale. Resize the background layer like the image above.

Go to Layer>Layer Style>Color Overlay. Select brown for the color, the one I used is #37281e.
STEP 3
After the Color Overlay, select Stroke. Use 4 pixels for the Size, Inside for the Position, Color Dodge for the Blend Mode and White for the Color.
STEP 4
Add another layer beneath the brown layer and fill it with beige, the one I used is #edd3aa.
STEP 7
Still with the image layer selected go to Image>Adjustments>Levels. Increase the black input to 87, the middle input to 0.93. Also for the Output Leves use 0 and 130.

Let’s import a photo of a ladder. The one I used is courtesy of Shutterstock and you can get it at http://www.shutterstock.com/pic-

Go to Layer>New Adjustment Layer>Hue and Saturation. This adjustment layer has to be on top of the other layers, the ladder and the background. Increase the Lightness to 12..

Select the image layer and go to Image>Adjustments>Hue and Saturation. Reduce the Hue to -170 and leave the other values the same.

using Helvetica Neue Light, 33pt with the same brown. At the bottom of the page I added a quote by Paulo Coelho using Helvetica Neue Regular, 16pt. With the Polygonal Lasso Tool (L) create a marquee selection of the yellow sky.
Now let’s add some text. I added 2010 using Helvetica Neue Bold, 107pt using brown (9e7539) for the color. Below the 2010 I added “Happy New Year” Go to Image>Adjustments>Hue and Saturation. Reduce the Hue to 30, the Saturation to 30 and increase the Lightness to 13. Also select Colorize. Use the image above as reference.
After that with the stars image selected go to Layer>Layer Mask>Reveal Selection.

Add a new layer on top of the others and fill it with white. Then go to Filter>Render>Lighting Effects. For the Style

select RGB lights and leave the other values the same.
Go to Filter>Blur>Gaussian Blur. Use 120 pixels for the Radius.

Reduce the Opacity of the layer to 30%. Go to Edit>Transform>Rotate. Rotate the image so the red will be at the bottom. Then go to Image>Adjustments>Levels. Increase the Black input to 70.

Change the Blend Mode of the paper texture to Multiply. This layer will be on top of the others.
STEP 18
Go again to Layer>New Adjustment Layer>Hue and Saturation. This adjustment layer will be on top of the other layers. Reduce the Saturation to -32 and increase the Lightness to +28.
CONCLUSION In this tutorial we played only with Blend Modes, masks, and basic filters. The idea was to create something minimalistic but beautiful and with a retro feel. It’ll also make for a really cool New Year’s card!

revity may be the soul of wit but wit’s brain must surely be creativity. There are a seldom few ideas that gets constantly misrepresented and misapplied more than creativity. We often use this word in common language to give compliments to children or adults as an alternative for praising their natural intelligence. It must be said that unlike the preconceived notion that there are those that are creative and those that although creativity is linked with intelligence, they are not at all the same. Furthermore and vastly more importantly, creativity can be learned.
T
o define terms in a more understandable way, having a high degree of intelligence is the ability to understand difficult concepts faster than those around you and apply your knowledge to unique situations productively. Although having this is very important, it does not directly lead to innovation or a vast and deep understand between multiple large ideas.
C
reativity is the ability to laterally think and disregard preconceived notions surrounding ideas that are commonly held. Simply put, being creative allows you to make connections that otherwise would not be open to you not because they aren’t there but because the way you choose to tackle the problem does not directly lead to a solution.
A
lthough children are born creative and slowly we teach them through instruction at school or at home to form concepts in their heads that block lateral thinking, they and you are able to get past this block by simply picking up objects and spend time thinking of how many ways you can repurpose them for your needs. This may seem a bit underwhelming when in fact it should be reassuring. The sentiment behind this idea is that being creative is the end result of hard work and not natural luck.

lfredo Moser is a mechanic in the Philippines where there are many homes without any form of artificial light that barely have running water. This man developed the idea of taking a liter soda bottle, filling it with a mixture of water and bleach and installing it in his tin roof which then allows the sun to refract into the bottle and output effectively as a 40-60 watt light bulb. Since his discovery, over 14,000 thousand of these units have been installed in houses across the Philippines, giving light to those who would otherwise have none. This invention did not come across in a moment of brilliance but instead from years of mechanical work and interest in the way things operate. He experimented and maybe threw out thousands of possible solutions before the serviceable idea came forth.

homas Edison famously made a thousand failed light bulbs before finally bringing light to the world. Although your first idea may not have panned out, you should not feel abated to try and try again. The thousand tries may seem disheartening but we must remember that Edison was not formally educated and did all but brute forced the light bulb into existence but formal education was not needed. If you wish to be creative without those sorts of pains, you need to educate yourself.

ll this pain and suffering and tedium, along with a few moments of extreme self-satisfaction is not just art on the wall. There is very much extreme utility in being creative if not anything else. Being creative is being able to come up with innovative solutions to life problems that happen every day in maybe a more elegant manor. Being able to think outside the box will maybe allow you the insight to understanding a problem, maybe even being able to solve the core of the issue instead of patch working the surface.
I
understand that these platitudes are next to useless in helping you live day to day. I know that there is no easy answer and that life is complicated and very much difficult. Every single life is unique and needs individual attention. Although there are no easy answers, hopefully getting a small insight about creativity will lend you a tool to lesson your burdens. If nothing else, hopefully through creativity and a larger understanding you will be able to appreciate art, the natural order, the complexity and simplicity of life in a way that you may not have considered before.

here are more than one kind of education in the world, the sort of knowledge that comes from books is only supplementary to what you see and hear. To be creative you need to open your mind to other people’s perspectives, their experiences, and maybe even push yourself out of your comfort zone to try something new.

MINIMALISM IN ARCHITECTURE

The Movement of Minimalism The movement of Minimalism is found in the direction of art, architecture and design. Even in music and fashion. The basic idea behind it is to use the least amount of elements possible for an effective result. This same principle is even applied in architecture. This direction started in the 20th century and it extended and lasted till this day and age and through the famous saying of renown architect Mies Von Der Rohe “Less is more”, sightings of this movement began and it was aided by the appearance of other directions and movements suh as the De stijl movement which is a dutch movement that started in 1917 along with traditional Japanese architecture. Minimalism in Architecture The message behind this movement is simplicity. Simplicity in all forms of geometric shapes and stripping it down to it’s basic form as well as using limited raw materials and taking natural lighting into account. From that, minimalist architects focus on the surrounding area, the people and nature. What matters to these designs is the direction of the building, the state of being, form and space, natural lighting and the raw materials.

in International houses for Development and Construction in Jeddah which specializes in building houses. He also works there as a designer for their projects from his own private studio that is funded by the company. Minimalism in a private house by the sea The house by the sea was one of the private projects in Jeddah, by Durrat Al-Arous village, that is going to be implemented by the end of the year and it was designed based on the wishes of the owner and his family to spend their vacation in relaxation with friends and family, away from the city’s noise in complete and total calm.Minimalism for this project was the perfect direction to take with designing this comfortable beach house as it was requested by the owner. The designer relied on stripping the lines for a sleek, responsive design that goes along with the movement, and from another aspect he took to changing the direction of the house for added privacy in which he made the back facing the neighbor’s entrance. The house is made up of three stories, plus the basement which was allocated for recreational activities like home cinema, a Ping Pong table, a pool table and so on and so forth. On the ground floor, a hall was made for multiple uses such as family gathering or private events and it was one of the largest spaces in the house, 10 meters tall and 8 meters wide, looking out at a view in nature and housing a large pool outside. As for the first floor, it is made especially for the family’s bedrooms, designed to be majestic and prestigious. Last but not least, the second floor, a private suite for the owner and his wife, covered by glass walls. Even the bathrooms are designed carefully to follow the minimalistic movement.

الحركة اإلختزالية الحركة أو اإلتجاه اإلختزالي هو إتجاه وجد في الفن، في العمارة والتصميم ،وفي الموسيقى واألزياء .فكرته األساسية استخدام أقل عدد ممكن من العناصر للحصول على نتيجة فعالة .اإلتجاه اإلختزالي في العمارة والتصميم اليختلف كثيرا عنه في الفن ،فبدأ هذا التوجه في القرن العشرين وامتد إلى يومنا هذا .ومن خالل مقولة المعماري الشهير مس فان دروه “القليل هو الكثير” بدأت معالم اإلتجاه اإلختزالي بالظهور .مما ساعد أيضا على ظهورها هو تأثرها باتجاهات وحركات أخرى هما حركة الديستايل وهي حركة هولندية بدأت عام ، 1917والعمارة اليابانية التقليدية. اإلختزالية في العمارة رسالة اإلتجاه اإلختزالي هي البساطة ،البساطة في األشكال الهندسية وتجريدها ،واستخدام خامات محدودة ،ووضع اإلضاءة الطبيعية في االعتبار .ومن ذلك يركز المعماريين اإلختزاليين على المكان المحيط ،والناس، والطبيعة .فموقع واتجاه المبنى ،حالة اإلنسان ،الشكل والفراغ ،اإلضاءة الطبيعية ،والخامات من األساسيات المهمة لديهم. اإلختزالية في التصميم الداخلي فكرة التصميم في هذا اإلتجاه بشكل عام تكمن في قلة األشكال واأللوان والخامات ،فاإلستخدام في األشكال تتوجه إلى الهندسية الصريحة مع استخدام الخطوط المستقيمة ،واإلبتعاد عن الزخرفة تماما ،واأللوان محدودة ومناسبة للفراغ ،أما الخامات فلها معايرها الخاصة باختيار مواد قريبة من الطبيعة وقلة التكلفة مطلوبة نوعا ما. قد نتسائل هل لهذا اإلتجاه شعبية كبيرة بين دول العالم؟ أو بين دولنا العربية؟ خاصة منطقتنا التي تنحصر فيها بعض اإلتجاهات المعمارية والتصميمية نسبة إلى المجتمع وتقبلهم لهذه األمور.

التصميم اإلختزالي في السعودية تفاعل بعض مهندسينا واعتبارهم أن اإلتجاهات المعمارية لها دور مهم في العمارة والتصميم ،منهم المهندس عالء الصيرفي الحاصل على بكالوريوس عمارة من جامعة أم القرى عام ، ٢٠٠٢وماجستير تصميم داخلي التي كانت دراساته عن الفن الحديث واالتجاهات في التصميم من جامعة برايتون ببريطانيا عام .٢٠٠٨بدأ المهندس عالء مسيرته بعد تخرجه بالبكالوريوس من خالل العمل في مجاله الكتساب الخبرة وبعد حصوله على الماجستير
ومروره بكذا خبرة ،أصبح شريك مع شركة بيوت الدولية للتنمية والبناء بجدة المتخصصة في بناء المنازل ومصمم لمشاريعهم من خالل االستديو الخاص به التي تغطيها الشركة. اإلتجاه اإلختزالي في بيت خاص على البحر بيت البحر من المشاريع الخاصة في مدينة جدة بقرية صمم لتلبية رغبة درة العروس سينفذ في نهاية العامُ ، المالك وعائلته في قضاء عطلتهم باسترخاء مع األهل واألصدقاء وهدوء بعيد عن ضوضاء المدينة .وكان اإلتجاه اإلختزالي التصميم المناسب لمنزل العطلة المريح كما أنها من متطلبات أصحابها. أعتمد المصمم على تجريد الخطوط للحصول على تصميم أنيق ومتجاوب مع اإلتجاه اإلختزالي ،و من جهة أخرى تعمد المصمم تغيير واجهة المبنى لتوفير الخصوصية حيث جعل خلفيتها مقابلة لمدخل الجيران. يحتوي المنزل على ٣أدوار باإلضافة للبدروم الذي ُخصص لألنشطة الترفيهية مثل السينما المنزلية ،طاولة التنس، بلياردو وغيرها. وفي الدوراألرضي ُأنشأت قاعة متعددة اإلستخدام كأن تكون لتجمع العائلة أو إلقامة المناسبات الخاصة ،وهي من أكبر المساحات في المنزل بطول ١٠م وعرض ٨م الواقعة مابين منسوبين مطلة على منظر طبيعي و محتضنة مسبح كبير في الخارج. أما الدور األول مخصص لغرف نوم أفراد العائلة ذات تصميم فاخر ،بينما الدور الثاني به جناح خاص بالمالك وزوجته تغطيها جدران زجاجية ،أما دورة المياه مصممة بعناية ضمن اإلتجاه اإلختزالي.

For over a thousand years, calligraphy has been the most spiritual of Middle and Far Eastern artistic forms. Traditionally associated with articulating beauty and the solemnity of the written word in prayer and religious texts, the very act of executing calligraphy is almost a devotional ritual itself, passed down from generation to generation.

Recently, the “Strokes in Dialogue” Exhibition brought together calligraphy experts from two corners of the Eastern world. Mr. Samir Sayigh from Lebanon, a renowned expert at employing and reading traditional Arabic calligraphy was joined by Professor Wang Dong Ling, a master of the craft hailing from China. For many enthusiasts from both countries, the event presented a great way to meet two professionals who are much lauded for their work with calligraphy. It also gave visitors an opportunity to see the two experts working their trade. Each calligrapher did an individual demonstration and as the evening proceeded, they even combined efforts to create collaborative calligraphy work.
no simple easel would do. Each of the two writers created his piece of art on a long and wide floor sheet, big enough for hundreds to see clearly. Mr. Samir did give a short speech about the craft, during which he expounded on calligraphy, an Arab art form originating from before the first printing of the Quran. Before this major religious document was published, information, records and other important things were related mostly through verbal communication alone. It was only after people were told to start keeping records that writing really took off in the Arab world. Initially, it was a beautiful thing, something which took years of practice to perfect. However, after writing became a more widespread practice, calligraphy lost some of its meaning as a form of art while taking on more of an identity as a way to write.

Those brought up in the Arab and Chinese worlds know that calligraphy is more than just a way to communicate ideas through written text. It is an art form, an important part of each culture’s history and a deeply rooted aspect in the lives of many Chinese and Arab people. For those from China who cannot read Arabic as well as people of the Middle East who cannot read Chinese, there is still much to learn from the calligraphy of neighboring countries. The aesthetic appeal and beautiful handwork should be enough to draw in those from both groups and get them interested in the writing of other cultures.

The Chinese represent one of the oldest cultures in the world and their calligraphy has aged well. Just like calligraphy to the west, there are different dialects and styles which can result in many unique looks for a body of written text. Certain combinations may even alter the meaning of the words which are read, as calligraphy was also used as a means of encoding vital information in messages during times of war. One thing was made clear by this event: Even those who have practiced calligraphy for years still have much to learn from the rest of the world.

الخط العربي فن عريق و جميل .القدرة على تكوين حروف جمالية بحركة فرشاة أو قلم كان موضوع معرض “خطوط الحوار” في معرض اثر .حدث ينظر بهدف الجمع بين مدرستين من أعرق التقاليد في احتفال .كانت كلتا الطريقتين العربية والصينية من فن تصميم الرسالة الزخرفية على عرض تحيات مواهب من اثنين من الممارسين الشهير للمهارة ،سيد الخطاطين السيد سمير والبروفيسور وانع.
أنه بهذه الطريقة في هذا الحدث“ ،الخط العربي هو فن إنساني جدا وأنيق بل هو الفن الذي أصبح نسيا منسيا منا ألكثر من 700عاما .في ذلك الوقت كان الغرض من فنون الخط تجسيد اإللهام .وقال إن الثقافة العربية في ذلك الوقت ال تعرف الكتابة ،كان كل شيء شفهي حتى جاء القرآن وقيل لهم _ تدوينها ولهذا الكتابة بدأت. وأعتقد في 300سنة األولى ،وكان فن الخط فنا خالصا .بعد وصول الكتابة، أصبح طريقة حفظ المعلومات وبذلك على طول الطريق فقدت معناها و جمالها.

كان الهدف في هذا الحدث هو تشجيع تقدير في الطرق التي تعكس هذه المدارس اثنين في فنون الخط واألهمية المشتركة إن هذا الرجوع إلى جذوره الفنية سامر صائغ والمعنى داخل الثقافات الخاصة التي كانت في قلب “حوار الخطوط” بكل منها ،وال يمكن أن يكون هناك دليل أوضح على ذلك ،والمحور الرئيسي في المعرض نفسه رأى كال الخطاطين من الجمع بين هؤالء السادة اثنين يمارس لعرضه على العمل معا إلنتاج ،عمل واحد أصلي .قطعة يمكن أن تكون العمل .الدليل على أن فنون الخط كفن هو أكثر بكثير من محل تقدير من قبل أي شخص ،وعرض قدرة الفن الحقيقي الكلمة المكتوبة وقدرتنا على قراءتها ،وصف السيد سمير للجمع بين كل الذين يفعلون بذلك.

Calligraphy with purpose

Based on popular demand, 90D held a thee day calligraphy workshop where the proceedings went to charity in support of the Syrian cause. The event was hosted by “The Shop” and the lesson was given by the esteemed Arabic Calligrapher Mr. Ibrahim Al-Arafi . In this three day workshop, the students learned the basics of Calligraphy which they then applied in learning the Diwani style. During the last day, their knowdge was used to create a large message on the wall where the word “Syria” was written in Kufi and the inside was filled with messages and prayers of hope and support.

Debut by the founder and designer of Lomar Mr.Loai Naseem, Who is known for his strong and passionate support into the art scene in the kingdom, the exhibition hosted ten contemporary Saudi artists that share a clear connection and attachment to the Saudi culture to deconstruct the Thobe and reframe both art and Thobe.
افتتح معرض الفن المعاصر مؤسس و مصمم لومار للثياب الرجاليه السيد لؤي تم دعوة كوكبة من الفنانين السعوديين المعاصرين ليبرزوا اعماال فنيه،نسيم عن طريق تجريد الثياب و اعادة تشكيلها الى لوح فنيه تحكي صياغة الثوب و الفن .المعاصر معا.

The attendance of the exhibiton was an energetic mix of Artists and Media Celebrities as well as Members of the Social Elite of the kingdom, including Mrs.Ameerah AlTaweel, and the Actor Mr.Fayiz AlMalki, as well as Social Media celebrities like Mr.AbdulAziz AlAzzam.

Conceptual artist Marwah AlMogait takes us deep within the fabric of aged Thobes and garments through microscopic images, “to trace this hidden life within the layers of its texture, threads and stitches.”
نبتدئ باستكشاف اعماق الثوب من خالل صور فوتوغرافيه مقربه تتبع الحياه الخفيه وراء القماش و الخيط و غرزات الثوب عبر عدسة الفنانه ثم نرى قصصا تروى من خالل صور شخصيه،التشكيليه مروه المقيط .قديمه من ارث االجيال السابقه للفنان ايمن زيدان
Artist Ayman Zedani’s 4x5inch ambrotypes depict the tales revisited while reproducing “Lost Family Portraits” left behind by an older generation.
ننتقل بعدها لنعيش سويا الزمن القديم بطهارة اهله و صفاء .قلوبهم عبر اعمال الفنان خالد العريجي التشكيليه
Khalid Oraij takes us back to “The Good Old Times” when life was free from extravagance and resentment. Self-taught artist Nouf Al-Semari’s painting juxtaposes the Western white shirt with the long white Thobe in two canvases joined in the middle, portraying that they have more similarities than differences.

Dania Al-Saleh deconstructs the Thobe and reconstructs it with the underlying colors of white using Islamic ornaments and geometry. Mixed media artist Heba Farahat’s 94cm Thobe miniatures act as mirrors and strings that connect us to our ancestors and their stories. Fashion designer and artist Nawaf Bin Saud’s installation using Thobe sleeves narrates the lifecycle of Thobe and how it is eager to leave the desert to enter the modern world. Noorah Kareem puts a humorous twist to the flexibility of Thobe in a witty frame-by-frame digital animation. Writer and artist Saad Bin Mohammed invites the audience to allow their imagination to flow in interpreting his paintings. Soraya Darwish ‘s participatory art installation invites the audience to be more than consumers and encourages them to be part of the creative process.

يتوسط ارض هذا المعرض ثوب قامت بصنعه الفنانه هبه فرحات تقدم لنا عبره مرآه توصلنا الى جيل االجداد يحكي لنا قصصا و لننتقل، حكايات دثرت تحت خطى الزمن المتسارعه الى المستقبل بعدها الى تاريخ حياة الثوب و انتقاله من الصحراء الى عالمنا الحالي في عمل للفنان نواف بن سعد استخدم فيه اكمام الثوب ليقدم لنا .تحفته الفنيه هذه و ال ننسى مواكبه العصر من خالل المعرض حيث نرى احدى اعمال الفنانه نوره كريم تصف عبره مرونة الثوب في عمل فني رقمي ذو ينتهي بنا المطاف الى جزء غامض من المعرض حيث،لمسة طريفه يدعونا الفنان سعد بن محمد بمشاركتنا لوحته التشكيليه و محاولة .تفسيرها عبر مخيلة زوار المعرض و رؤيتهم ننهي هذا المعرض المميز بدعوة من الفنانه ثريا درويش للحضور الطالق حسهم الفني في عمل مشترك لها مع الحضور يعبر عن .نسيج المجتمع من خالل ايديهم

Behance began hosting live portfolio reviews two years ago and so Alia AlAlit decided to acquire the license from them to host the events here in Saudi Arabia. This young group was given reign over Riyadh and Jeddah where two events a year are to be hosted. The dates and prizes are supplied by Behance but it’s up to them to figure out a way to make the event all the more spectacular.

How did you come up with the idea of the project and what were your goals? The idea started after an urgent need for a group that tends to meets with designers and talk about what they do, as well as an exchange of their experiences. Our goals are about building and and spreading the culture of of the work and sending a global message of us as arabs and muslims.
What kind of activities and events have you adopted? Give us a few ideas of future plans that you are working towards to benefit your community:
Monthly meets in various cities, running and managing confrences and artistic meets and non-profit workshops. We’re also working on a TV channel specialized for Graphic Designers.
What is your message for any young, ambitious creative and what are you offering for the upcoming generation?
Who ever does what he/she can to serve their community will go on and succeed. As for what we offer, all are we building now is the foundation for a prosporous and promising future.
كيف بدات فكرة المشروع و ماهي اهدافكم باختصار؟
بدأت الفكرة بعد الحاجة الملحة لوجود مجموعة وتبادل، تهتم بلقاءات المصممين والتعريف بفنهم أما عن أهدافنا فهي تتلخص.. الخبرات فيما بينهم في بناء ونشر ثقافة العمل الفني وإيصال رسالة عالمية تخصنا كعرب ومسلمين.
اي نوع من الفعاليات واالحداث تبنيتموها مع ذكر افكار و فعاليات مستقبلية تطمحون بها إلفادة مجتمعكم؟
إدارة وتنظيم، لقاءات شهرية في عدة مدن ، ورش عمل غير ربحية، مؤتمرات وملتقيات فنية التجهيز لقناة متخصصة تخدم مصممي الجرافيك.
ماهي رسالتكم الي شاب مبدع او طموح و ماهي االشياء التي تقدموها للجيل الصاعد؟ إن من يقدم ما بوسعه لخدمة غيره سيستمر أما عن ما نقدمه فكل ما نعمله اآلن هو، وينجح القاعدة لمستقبل فني ريادي واعد.

The idea came about two years ago in Naples, Italy, when entrepreneurs and young businessmen from across Europe gathered to develop social projects and engage youth in the city. Interesting discussions were taking place in the city, the streets were full of passion. To develop a sustained trusted work and living environment for diverse people around the globe. Studies have showed there are interesting intersection points in our cultures therefore, we as human we have something in common, to promote our common values and to feel we are the same, and being able to work together, is a starting point for a more peaceful world.

Activities
Call of Culture is keen to develop media and events to engage individuals around the globe and to take part of personal and cultural reflection. International Culture Reflection Photography Competition was a great success, more than 600 photographers around the world have joined to show their culture.
Magazine Launch Call of Culture team thought it will be great chance to communicate the message with the United Nations, however, The International Peace Committee found Call of Culture project a real push for global peace and promoting global citizenship, they love the concept and invited us to join the International peace day at the HQ in NYC. We have got interesting feedback from the attendees of the event and under social media as well, the launching was live through WEBTV.UN.ORG so the window was really great for people to watch the launching live. The team has got a call for meetings by different UN Programs including Special Youth Advisor; we have discussed different aspects of culture being a great model for social change. The magazine was downloaded by more than 500 reviews in the first couple of weeks, Apple store reviews was 4 stars and this is really something to be proud of.

The Bawtaqa Organization
It is one that is still under construction. It deals with art, creativity and culture in the Arab Gulf Region. It was established in London by a handful of exchange students in the United Kingdom. It is an Arabian institute that adopts the Arabic language as it’s mother language. It supports the Arabic creativity in the gulf but it does not forbid the use of other languages if it was required to get the message across a bigger crowd.

Whether you’re a student, or someone in the creative or business industry, or just an avid note taker/scribble, you probably have a thousand notebooks laying around all the place. We’ve come across an adorable little tutorial that’ll teach you how to jazz up those notebooks in the form of a jacket/pocket. Let’s get strated!

Here are the materials you’ll need for this adorable little project: - Paper or thin card in colours of your choice - Ruler - Pencil - Notebook you’re wanting to cover (easier if it’s just a stitched or stapled spine) - Scissors - Sewing machine and thread

STEP 1 Measure and cut your card. Start by measuring the cover of your notebook when it’s spread open. I then took those measurements and added approx. 8mm (1.2″) onto the height, and approx. 80mm (3 1/4″) to the length, and measured out that rectangle onto my card. Cut it out. For example: Notebook Size: 140mm x 180mm Card Size: 148mm x 260mm *Alternately, instead of only adding 4mm each side of the height (8mm total) you can add the usual seam allowance of 1.5cm to the height (3 cm total) to make it easier to sew later down the track. Then, once you’ve sewn the edges you can just trim off the excess.

STEP 2 Gently fold your card in half and crease lightly, but don’t make it a sharp crease. Place your notebook spine into this crease.

STEP 3 Holding the cover of your notebook together with the card, and keeping the spine in line with the crease, fold the excess card over the cover and crease it using a bone folder or your finger nail. Keep the book as closed as possible when folding the card in. If you keep the notebook spread open when folding, once you close it again the jacket will most likely be too small.

STEP 4 Using a sewing machine to sew straight down the two longer sides of the card being sure to catch under the flaps. Make sure that the distance in from the edge that you sew is between 1 – 3mm from the edge (as we’ve only allowed for 4mm extra height on each side of the card). *Note: See Step 1 for alternative to sewing so close to the edge.

Brief profile “eL Seed” ال سيد” سيرة مختصرة “ eL Seed’s art was born on the streets, and now adorns walls across every continent. Weaving together traditions from differing artistic spheres, eL Seed is known for his symphonies of colors and shapes. Classic wild style graffiti techniques spell out letters from the Arabic alphabet, which eL Seed skillfully sculpts into breathtaking artistic creations. Difficult to decipher, each composition calls not only on the words and their meaning, but also on their movement, to lure the viewer into a different state of mind.
