Southcare calls on Dalgety
The Dalgety School community was on hand last Wednesday to receive congratulations from Snowy Hydro Southcare for their fundraising efforts earlier this year. The school raised more per student than any other school in the district and they were rewarded with a visit from the helicopter last week. The occasion also provided an opportunity for local media to experience first-hand, the operations of the helicopter, with a flight from Cooma to Dalgety via Thredbo and Jindabyne. Pictured, the Southcare crew, Dr Ross Peake, air crewman Tom Willison, pilot Gerad Langley and paramedic Trevor Stohr pose with the school at Dalgety Showground.
