About me My name is Monique Catharina Subarli but you can simply call me ‘monmon’
A 3 rd year visual communication design student at Bina Nusantara University, majoring in New Media. I am 20 years old and design has been my point of interest since I was in junior high. For me, graphic design is the most powerful thing that can affect human’s life throughout daily basis. I’m still learning how to make an efficient and functional design yet pleasing the eye.
I also enjoy going to art and design exhibition, music concert, contributing to a design project, watching movie, and listening to music at my leisure time. I like to experience new things and learn from it, socialize with new people & try to understand their point of view. With all these experiences, I try to apply them into my design. I’m looking forward to experiencing new things in your company.

Balance, handmade, and unique. The logo was created by combining the two main ingredients in the restaurant and then combined with a balanced composition of ying and yang which gives the impression of balance and mutual binding. Red and blue colors taken from the dominant colors of Indonesia’s ag and European countries.
Background Since 2013, Waroeng Western has presented the result of marriage between typical Indonesian and Western dishes with chicken menu as main course. Waroeng Western positions itself as a restaurant for lovers of processed chicken, noodles, spaghetti, steak and dori chicken steak with Indonesia’s authentic spicy taste. Located at West Jakarta, two Waroeng Western outlets have served customers ranging from individuals, organizations, governments and companies for purposes of birthday events, thanksgiving, blessings, meetings, seminar workshops, gatherings and trainings.

Final The ADPII logo is formed from the basic shape of a box. The box represents ADPII as a place for its members to gain recognition and protection as part of the designer. The combination of sharp and rounded shapes symbolizes brotherhood as a key word and process of making this logo and because its members do not consist of just one circle. The gradation color from the young orange to the red is selected because it implies a warm impression like sunlight--conveys that ADPII is very welcome with its prospective members.

Phase Scope of work Tools
Yura is an Indonesian singer who released her first album in 2014. The title of this concert is Get Along with Yura, taken from one of her song titled Get Along with You. This concert aims to get Indonesia’s music lovers closer to this singer who has a colorful style. For the concert posters, I use pastel colors to match with the singer's personality and use organic elements to appear dynamic and not rigid. Other than that, I was making a poster using gestalt theory: proximity in the description of the event. The fusion of Luna fonts and with s hapes arranged to become an iconic piano in this concert.

For album booklet, I chose the circus theme in the form of digital illustrations taken from one of her songs titled Jester Suit, with a color tone of medieval color palette.

The initials of my name are MC, while M and C have different characters, I only use the letter M as my logotype. Due to the perfect height and width, I have chosen futura--it is futuristic, magnificent, and can stand on its own. Playing with strokes and colors gives an emphasis effect on the logotype.

Modification of typeface “FUTURA”. I tried playing with the contrast of stroke’s thickness and cutting the anatomy with different treatments for each letter to make the pieces look smooth. Since Futura’s character belongs to the geometric sans-serif classification, I try to change the character by creating an organic shaped line and collecting the ends of the stroke on several sides of the letter.

I try to generate a vintage impression from west countrieson the packaging so it raises the perception that the snack has been trusted for a long time.
Product made with seaweed avor inside a packaging designed with adorable dinosaur characters to give a dierent impression but still favored by the young, especially children.
Intending to convey dierent tastes and sensations when eating this snack, the packaging is illustrated by imagination.
