Unparalleled purveyors of a multi-lingual blend of cosmopolitan sounds, Pink Martini deliver a festive holiday concert featuring beloved songs from around the globe. Led by bandleader Thomas Lauderdale and vocalist China Forbes, the Portland, Oregon-based band will feature tracks from their phenomenal 2010 holiday album, Joy to the World, which features chestnuts like “White Christmas” alongside Hebrew prayers, Chinese New Year tunes and a samba-inspired version of “Auld Lang Syne.” Monday, December 2 • 8PM JH

Blind Boys of Alabama Christmas Show Go Tell It on the Mountain

As irresistible as it is contagious, the Blind Boys of Alabama Christmas Show is a roof-raising musical event. Sibelius Violin Concerto in D Minor, Op. 47 Tchaikovsky Symphony No. 4 in F Minor, Op. 36 Acclaimed Dutch conductor Jaap van Zweden, Musical America’s 2012 Conductor of the Year, makes his Mondavi Center debut with Tchaikovsky’s impassioned Fourth Symphony. The Chieftains

The Chieftains deliver a concert experience filled with grace, humor, exceptional musicianship and the pageantry of visiting dancers and pipe bands. Recognized for bringing traditional Irish music to the world’s attention, the six-time Grammy winners are still led by Paddy Moloney, who formed the band from the ranks of the top Irish musicians back in 1962. Since her debut album, Diana Krall has made her mark as a pianist and vocalist with a distinctive feel and an extraordinary sense of time. From I-80 East or West: • Take the UC Davis Exit #71. • Continue north on Old Davis Road. • Turn right onto Hilgard Lane. • Enter into the west side of the Parking Structure (on the left).

Parking is $8 per vehicle for each event and can be paid in cash or with credit cards. • Park at the east end of the Parking Structure closest access to the Mondavi Center main entrance. • For the quickest exit from the Parking Structure, we recommend parking on the upper two levels. • If you purchased a parking pass with an online ticket order and selected Will Call delivery, please visit the Ticket Office before parking to pick up your pass.
