Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) has announced the entertainment venues and experiences on board Norwegian Prima, the first of six ships within its new Prima Class.
Expected to set sail in summer 2022, the vessel will introduce multiple first-at-sea innovations as well as new-to-brand offers. “We’re not just elevating the guest experience, we’re giving it an adrenaline rush and multisensory overload,” reveals Harry Sommer, President and CEO of Norwegian Cruise Line. “When we launched Norwegian Prima, we aimed at going beyond expectations, providing our guests with more wide-open spaces, elevated service, thoughtful design and a variety of unforgettable experiences, and this latest unveiling of our entertainment and onboard activities line-up is going to have the wow-factor they’ve yearned for in a much-anticipated cruise vacation.”
Taking centrestage is the multi-purpose Prima Theatre and Nightclub, a three-storey space designed to convert seamlessly from a state-of-the art performance stage to an expansive dance floor, featuring customisable seating layout and a moving LED screen that lowers from the ceiling.
Norwegian Prima will also roll-out its interactive game show experiences, in which guests can participate in special productions of The Price Is Right and Supermarket Sweep, winning prizes along the way.
Further experiences include The Bull’s Eye, an elevated twist on the classic game of darts, and The Galaxy Pavilion, an indoor virtual gaming complex with 14 attractions including four new hyper-immersive simulators, escape rooms and the only Topgolf Swing Suite available at sea. And finally, for the ultimate adrenaline rush, Norwegian Prima presents The Drop, the world’s first freefall dry slide, where users will experience a 10-storey plunge reaching the highest G-forces of any cruise line.
