TPMEA AWARDS 2019 THE ANNUAL AWARDS EVENT RETURNS TO DUBAI TO ACKNOWLEDGE THE OUTSTANDING PROJECTS AND INDIVIDUALS FROM THE MIDDLE EAST’S LIVE EVENTS INDUSTRY.
Back by popular demand, TPMEA Magazine returns with the second instalment of the highly-anticipated TPMEA Awards. Taking place on the 24 April in Dubai, the event presents an opportunity for guests to network with industry colleagues and pay tribute to a selection of individuals, as the Middle East events season draws to a close. This year’s ceremony follows a similar format to 2018s inaugural event, which saw 400 guests gather in Lock Stock & Barrell JBR The Walk at the Jumeriah Beach in Dubai. This year, TPMEA takes over a new space with the Awards - taking residency in the Hard Rock Café Dubai. Earlier this year, the Middle East live events community came together to put forward the individuals who make up this

year’s shortlist and following a voting process over a selection of months. As well as a new venue, this year’s event will also see the introduction of new Awards categories, including: Technical Director of the Year, Temporary Structure Project Manager of the Year, and Temporary Power Supplier Engineer. The Awards, which include categories such as Production Coordinator of the Year, Lighting Engineer of the Year and Lighting Designer of the Year, have been voted for by industry insiders. The only exception to the public vote is the Outstanding Event Production, The TPMEA AV Industry Recognition Award, and the EINO Backstage Award, which have been put forward by a panel of industry experts. Awards sponsors include SES, Gulf Crewing Company, EFM Global Logistics, Creative Technology, PROLIGHTS, Robe, Sennheiser, Delta Sound (now part of Production Resource Group), Protec and Prolyte. Tickets are still available at the cost 250 AED with proceedings begin at 19.00 and end at 22.00. The event includes an open bar and buffet.
