According to our clients, we should change it into an advanced English school for 4 to 8-year-old children which would include some dancing classrooms and normal classrooms in different themes. The whole school should provide children a happy and interesting study place, also it should be a cool and comfortable place for teachers working there.

02 XiAn JoyCity, Rooftop Garden, XiAn, China (2018) Contribution: Conceptual Design, Interior Design, Material, Perspective The Story He is known as Mr. Goose. No one knows Mr. Gooses’ real name, But everyone loves to be a guest of Mr. Goose’s house. No one knows His real age. People say that he never get old. He has the loved one and his good friends. No one knows where does he go for travel, he comes back to tower from time to time.

Perspective This project is now under construction. Here’s my watercolour sketches about this conceptual design. Also here’s some renders. My colleague did the render and I photoshopped them.

It is said that Mr. Goose sometime transform into man, when full moon of autumn he transformed back to Goose. and fly back to China. to be with his family and friends. Although He traveled everywhere beautiful corner of the earth.

What he loves the most is to share the precious time with his family and friends.

Xi’an joy city has a really good location in Xi’an. The most famous Chinese pagoda is in front of our building and people can easily see that historical building in rooftop garden. So we must design it based on the position of pagoda. We tried to make a higher platform for people having a good view of that beautiful pagoda.

This working is designed in the ShouGang old park. And there will be a high-rise building on the site. This building is going to be a part of the winter Olympic games providing housing, some entertainments and also leisure spaces.

Shougang moved to Tangshan province and stopped producing anything.

Beijing is a successful bidder for the Olympic winter Games.

2015

September 1996, Shougang Group was formally established. By the end of 1998, the group has 83 member units, the production and operation of investment management and the large group of economic organizations.

2005

1966, Shijingshan Steel Corp is renamed the capital Steel Corp. after the Cultural Revolution broke out, Shougang was discontinued once. Then under the instructions of Premier Zhou Enlai, the production can be restored.

In 1978, Shougang became one of the eight key iron and steel enterprises in China. It managed 40 individual factories with 71 thousand stuffs.

1996

04

In May 1958, the Shijingshan iron and steel plant began to expand, and was reorganized as Shijingshan Steel Corp. Beijing area initially formed by the Shijingshan Steel Corp and Metallurgical Bureau of local enterprises constitute the black metallurgical industry.

1978

During the war, the Japanese invaders forcibly occupied the refinery, reorganized as the South Manchuria Railway Corporation North Hing Company of the "Shijingshan iron and steel".

1958

1919

In 1919, governments organized Longyan Limited by Share Ltd in Shijingshan Jingxi iron ore refinery construction, then black metallurgy industry started in Beijing.

Then ShouGang old park became a new place for the organizing committee of the Olympic winter Games. Now everything is changing. ShouGang has a brand new identity in the future.

TUNNEL Theatre Design ShouGang industrial old park, Shijingshan district, Beijing, China 2014.09-12 Academic work

This working is designed in the ShouGang old park. And there will be a great theatre on the site. The most interesting point is that there is a abandoned track passing through this site. This theatre is going to be a part of the winter Olympic games providing some entertainments and leisure spaces.

FANTASY OF SHOUGANG

FUSE

This was an industrial park owned by Shougang Corporation, capital steel, which has abandoned for years. Decision has made in 2016 that Olympic Winter Games will be hold in this area. Lots of changes will occur here and the residential quarters, new railway stations will make differences as a result. The commercial development will get great changes in this area, as well.

wirerope

Some old factories are required to remain, so the theatre must integrate into these big industrial factories and become one important part in ShouGang Park. It cannot be like an industrial product but a represent for the modern society. So I try it for all the aspects.

The courtyard in XiSi HuTong mostly is the SiheYuan. The traditional Siheyuan courtyard has an open space in the center of the yard offering to anyone in the house. However, when time goes on, homes get more people to live. The original space for one family’s comfortable life is more and more crowded. Every household all think their own features in using of living space is not enough. So our aim is to change this terrible situation and make the people here have a better life.

Open Spaces are very similar in functions: only people in the house can use; hanging clothes out; parking bikes. Even the simple sports activities, such as kicking shuttlecock, rope skipping, etc., and entertainment, drink tea chat needs to be out of their yard, and walk into the alley through the crowded together. What I do is not to change this life style but to improve their life quality and try to clean the dirty street and complicated yard. It is not good at all to do those tiny life things in their own house. In the future design process, the concept of construction may be weakened. But to solve the problem of open space, for at the bottom level people of society, given their habits at ordinary times, the need for open space should be large. The happiness of the people living in Hutong, largely derived from the interactive and entertainment with their neighborhoods.
