Ask for feedback about the content and design. 13. If needed, make improvements to the content and design. 14. Repeat steps 6-8 until I have made 25 posts. 15. If possible, upgrade my blog so that it has a domain name (“.com) 16. Write my report and plan the exhibition.

Planning k You now need to plan what you are going to do and the techniques that you will use to complete the project. The following are some guidelines for you: What is your product going to look like/be? My product is going to be a fashion blog dedicated to informing students in Jakarta where to shop on a limited budget. The blog will have simple but stylish layout. What techniques are you going to use to make/complete the product? You may list a variety here and then choose one. • I will be using HTML & CSS coding to design the layout of my blog from scratch. • I will be using graphic design and photo editing to put together visual content for my readers (banners, picture posts, etc.) • I will be using my writing skills to write engaging posts. Explain the stages that you will need to go through to complete it: 1. I will decide on a blogging platform to use and a name for my blog. 2. I will select a basic template and fill in all the necessary SEO requirements for my blog. This will increase my likeliness of being found on a search engine. 3. I will work independently and with an expert to design the layout of my blog using HTML & CSS and graphic design. All the design and aesthetic aspects of my blog will be done during this stage. 4. I will post a visitor counter on my blog. 5. I will investigate places in Jakarta that offers affordable but fashionable clothing under a budget of 500,000 for everything. This may include thrift stores or even high-street stores (depends on the price though). 6. I will find items of clothing/accessories or individual shops that meet the specifications of my mainly teen audience, take photos of them and if I really like it, I’ll buy it.
7. I will publish different kinds of posts depending on the occasion. A post could be an oufit post, a lengthy review post or even just a simple photo with short description. 8. I will repeat steps 5-7 over the course of 2 weeks. 9. I will ask to be affiliates with other successful bloggers to get more readership. 10. I will upgrade my blog to a “.com”. 11. I will advertise my blog through social media and through any personal connections. Why did you choose this way of showing your product? Is it going to be successful? I chose to create a blog because I wanted to fuse my passion for fashion and technology into a product I would enjoy making. Fashion blogging combines everything I love to do from spending time on the internet to shopping for clothes! Blogs have always fascinated me because they express a person’s innermost thoughts and feelings in a personal and dynamic way. They’re written by real people with no limits to what they can say or opinionate. They can also be updated anytime for as long as they want and we can always look back to see how the blog has developed. In that way, it’s different from making a magazine or a book. It’s just more flexible. I also think that blogging is essential in this day and age of the Internet because it’s a useful tool for networking. Blogging allows to your interact and share your thoughts to other likeminded people. Blogging, I think is so understated, because not many people understand the time and effort that goes into developing a successful blog. If I manage to pull this off, I would be really proud of myself (I’ve tried to blog consistently but always failed) and would continue to run it in the future. I cannot say for sure if my blog will be successful but I will certainly use my knowledge and ingenuity to develop a blog that hopefully will be fun for other people to read. How will these techniques help you show your understanding of the area of interaction? My AOI, Human Ingenuity, is all about the evolution, process and products of human creativity and their impact of life and society. My blog will help me achieve a greater understanding of this AOI because I will be creating a product that will provide opportunities for me to appreciate and develop the ability to create, transform, enjoy and improve the quality of life for other people. It is a creativity-driven product that requires me to use my imagination and ingenuity to design and develop. They also require me to reflect because to make my product successful I will examine, experience and reflect on the creative process of all the techniques I will do.
