Introduction Welcome to maCapital Resources: To help you understand some of the foundations of this program we’ve created this handy guide to help answer some questions that you might have. For instance: • • • •

How do I get started? How do I order? How much does it cost? How much money can I make?

And much much more. For your convenience we’ve broken the document out into sections so that you can skip ahead to the section which interests you, or you can read through the entire document to help you better understand the entire program.

Definition of Terms To start with, let’s talk about some terminology. maCapital Resources:

This is the brand name of the new Financial Services store of Market America.

maCapital Resources Agent:

This is someone who is authorized to sell products that are currently available in from maCapital Resources.

maMoney Merge Account Pro:

One of the products which an agent can sell, it is designed for clients who have a mortgage and other debts they would like to pay down to zero.

maMoney Merge Account Express: One of the products which an agent can sell, it is designed for clients who do NOT have a mortgage but have debt that is less than $80,000 combined. maMMA:

The abbreviation for ma Money Merge Account

Agent:

maCapital Resources Agent

Unfranchise Owner/Distributor:

Market America Independent Distributor

Client:

The person looking to purchase the maMMA

These two products, the maMMA Pro and maMMA Express are too detailed to get into the specifics in this document, but, once you become an agent, you will learn more about the details of these products. In fact, every Unfranchise Owner who wishes to become an agent must pass the Agent Certification Course to be certified to sell these products. The Certification course is an online course that you can take at your leisure and we will show you that later in the document. There are e‐learning modules that you watch and/or read and practice exams to help you study up for the final exam.

maMoney Merge Account Once you become certified, you will then get access to your Agent Portal which allows you to start selling the maMMA Pro and the maMMA Express to potential clients. So, that prompts the obvious questions, “how do I do that” and “what do I get out of it?” Well, let’s answer the second question first. What do you get from selling these packages? With the maMMA Pro, you receive $1000 retail profit on every sale and you receive 1000 BV. The product sells for $3500 and the wholesale is $2500, the price is not variable, it is fixed. There is no monthly fee associated with this product, it is a one‐time sale. With the maMMA Express, you receive $400 retail profit on every sale and you receive 600 BV. The product sells for $1795 and the wholesale is $1395, the price is not variable, it is fixed. There is no monthly fee associated with this product, it is a one‐time sale. One thing which is unique to this product line is that an Agent or distributor cannot purchase these products from themselves. You must purchase your subscription to the maMMA Pro or Express from another Agent (that is in your line of sponsorship/genealogy, above or below) even if you are an Agent yourself. The easiest solution to this, is to find a person in your organization who is also an Agent and you can buy your ma Money Merge Account program from them and they can buy theirs from you. Which brings up the question, what happens to the BV? Well, normal BV placement rules apply, with one exception. If you, as an Agent, are selling the maMMA to someone in your organization that is structured below your business development center (in your downline), but they are not personally sponsored by you, you are allowed to place the BV into their 001, 002, or 003 BDC’s. This is the only exception. Other than this one exception, all normal BV placement rules apply. Indicating an invalid BV placement on the paperwork being filled out for the maMMA will result in a delay in processing your client’s order. Also, it is important to note that cross‐group selling of any maMMA product is prohibited. Review the Career Manual section on cross‐group selling for more information on the terminology. Client’s, whether they are Agent’s, Unfranchise owners, distributors, or just customers, are allowed to pay for their order with a Money Order, Cashier’s Check, or Personal Check. If the client is a Market America Independent Distributor, then check writing privileges apply. Money Orders and Cashier’s Checks will typically clear immediately and the account will be activated for the client within two

business days of the order being processed. Personal Checks are subject to a 15 day hold period and the client’s account will be activated after the 15 day hold period.

Ordering Ok, so now that we’ve covered some of the basics and a few of the details, let’s take a look at how we actually get started! The first step is to become a maCapital Resources Agent! If you have not purchased the maCapital Resources Agent subscription you will see the screen below when you highlight and click the “maCapital Resources” button in the left hand column of your UnFranchise business account.

To order the maCapital Resources Agent subscription scroll down to “Ordering Services” and click “Order Products” in the drop down menu in the left hand column.

Type or select your billing and shipping information and click “Continue with Ordering Process” button at the bottom of the page when you have completed all required fields.

Select and click “Financial Services” in the left hand column.

Click the blue underlined “Financial Services” next to the maCapital Resources logo in the square.

Type “1” in the quantity field and click the “Add to Cart” button.

Click “View Cart/Checkout” in the box on the right hand side of the page.

Check the “x” box next to maCaptial Resources Agent Subscript… Then click the “Checkout” button when you are finished shopping.

Select and input your Payment Method for the purchase and click “Continue” when you have finished.

Select the BV placement if you have purchased additional product which has BV then click “Continue”.

Read the maCapital Resources Terms and Conditions. Click “I Agree” to purchase the subscription. Then click the “Continue” button at the bottom of the page.

Review the Final Order Preview screen to confirm your billing, shipping and order information. If the information is correct click the “Submit Order” button. If not click the “Back” button and edit the necessary fields.

Click “Print” to print a copy of your Order Invoice for your business records. After you have printed your invoice click the “Close Window” button.

Certification After you have completed your purchase go to the Home page in your UnFranchise business account and click the “maCapital Resources” field.

You should see the screen below after you clicked “maCapital Resources”, once your agent subscription is processed (the order for the subscription is normally processed immediately, but, can sometimes take up to 30 minutes). You will continue to see the screen below each time you click the link, until you have complete your Agent Certification Test and qualify as a maCapital Resources Agent. Click on the “youruniversity.org” link to go ma Money Merge Account Certification course.

Below you will see the start of the certification course. To begin the course, click on “ma Money Merge Account Certification” link. At this point, you will see the series of classes which you will want to review. Each section is structured similarly. Some have videos associated with them, some just have written materials. You want to view and read all the materials for each section (clicking the link will bring up the material) and view them again if you need clarification on any concepts. Once you feel fairly confident that you understand the material in the section, then you can click the “Practice Exam” to take a practice test which will help you better understand if you have a full understanding of the information in that section.

For example, on the videos, once you click the “Orientation Video” link, you’ll want to click the white triangle “Play” button to watch the video presentation.

In addition, once you have completed watching a video or reviewing one of the written pieces, you can go back to the main Course menu by clicking “Certification Course” in the set of links at the top of the page.

Once you feel fairly confident that you understand the material in the section, then you can click the “Practice Exam” to take a practice test which will help you better understand if you have a full understanding of the information in that section.

Once you click the “Attempt Quiz Now” button you will see the “100 Practice Exam – Attempt 1”. To complete the exam, click in the appropriate answer box to the questions on each page. Use the scroll bar on the side to move down the page to answer questions until you complete the pages.

Make sure you click the link that says “(Next)” at the bottom to advance to the next page. In addition, at any time, you may click “Save without submitting” to save your attempt and come back to it later. Remember, do not click “Submit all and finish” until you’ve completed all the questions on all the pages.

When you have answered the questions on all 3 pages, click “Submit all and finish” button.

Click the “OK” button, in the pop up window, if you have finished and do not want to change any answers.

The Review of attempt 1 page will open and show you the results of your practice exam. Use the scroll on the right to move down the page. Click the through the pages or click the “Show all questions on one page” to view all answers.

Once you are finished click the “Finish review” button on page 3.

If you would like to retake the practice exam click the “Re‐attempt quiz” button.

Once you have reviewed the 100 Practice Exam materials and are ready to move on to the next course click “Certification Course” in the menu bar. Click on the next section of the Certification Course. Continue this process until you have completed and reviewed the materials up to the Final Certification Exam. To take the Final Exam click on the “Attempt quiz now” button. You must earn a 95% or better to pass, but you can retake the exam as many times as needed.

You will see the Final Certification Exam. To complete the exam, click in the appropriate answer box to the questions on each page. Use the scroll bar on the side to move down the page to answer questions until you complete the pages.

Similar to the Practice Exams, you are able to review your answers after completing the test to see what you answered correctly, incorrectly, and partially correct. The “Review of attempt 1” page will open and show you the results of your exam.

Click the through the pages or click the “Show all questions on one page” to view all answers. Once you are finished click the “Finish review” button on page 10.

If you would like to retake the exam click the “Re‐attempt quiz” button.

THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT! Once you have achieved a 95% or better on the Final Certification Exam, you want to click the link which says “Click here to print your certificate”. If you do not click this link and follow the steps to print your certificate, you will be unable to proceed into your Agent Portal and continue. If you forget to do this, just log back in like before and go to the link at the bottom of the page and Print your Certificate.

Click the “Get your certificate” button.

You will see a pop up window showing the “Click_here_to _print_your_certificate.pdf”.

Please use Adobe Acrobat Reader to view and print your certificate. You can download Adobe Acrobat Reader for free at www.Adobe.com/AcrobatReader if you do not have the software.

Once you have completed this step, close your browser window, and log into your Unfranchise business account then click the “maCapital Resources” menu item again.

Agent Portal This will now log you directly into your Agent Portal in a new browser window and you will see the page below (if you have completed and passed the Finial Certification Exam). To get started running an analysis, click “Add Contact” and add your client in as a contact then click their name and the link which says “Run ma Money Merge Account Analysis”.

You will see the Contact page below. Fill you’re the information about your contact and click “Save”.

You will see their name listed in the display window of the Analysis page. If you need to edit or delete the contact at any time just click on “Edit” or “Delete” in the right hand column. Select the contact by clicking on their name to go to the “Run ma Money Merge Account Analysis” page.

Click the “Run ma Money Merge Account Analysis” button and fill in the information regarding your client and run the analysis.

There are also a number of important items under the Resources tab. Click the “Resources” button in the menu bar.

You will see six sections listed on the Resources page.

When you click in the “Training & Sales Video” box on the Home page of the Resources area or on “Training Videos” in the menu bar you will go to the video resources area of your agent portal.

When you click in the “University Certification” box on the Home page of the Resources area or on “University Certification” in the menu bar you will go to the University Certification area of your agent portal.

When you click in the “Company Information” box on the Home page of the Resources area or on “Company Information” in the menu bar you will go to the Company Information area of your agent portal. This is where you can find the contact phone numbers if you have any questions about using your Agent Portal, running an Analysis, working with potential clients, etc.

When you click in the “Activation Documents” box on the Home page of the Resources area or on “Activation Documents” in the menu bar you will go to the Activation Documents area of your agent portal.

When you click in the “Training & Sales Webinar” box on the Home page of the Resources area or on “Webinar” in the menu bar you will go to the Webinar area of your agent portal.

Another very useful resource is the Agent Quick Start Guide. When you click in the “Agent Kit” box on the Home page you will go to the Agent Quick Start Guide area of your agent portal. Click on the “Agent Quick Start Guide” box and you will be able to view a PDF which will help you get your new business off the ground!

Any questions that you have regarding the Agent Portal, the maMMA products, working with potential clients, they can all be referred to the “Client / Agent Support” number that is found in the Company Information section of the Resources area in your Agent portal. If you have questions regarding BV or commissions, please refer to your upline Certified Executive Coordinator or call Market America Distributor Services.
