Monica Menozzi
Illustrator, mother and singer in a Rock Band. I was born in Paderno Dugnano, Milano, on July 7th, 1963. “She loves you" by the Beatles was on the air then… I achieved my art degree full marks in 1982; I immediately composed a portfolio and off I went, just nineteen, as a free-lance illustrator, drawing anything for anyone, all day long, eager to explore, to learn and to…draw. From the very beginning, I’ve worked with several prestigious magazines published by Rusconi, Mondadori and Rizzoli. For several years, I’ve been the primary illustrator of the weekly magazine “Bella” by Rizzoli. This was a great learning opportunity for me, as it gave me a very valuable experience in the editorial field. Meanwhile, I produced a considerable amount of advertisement illustrations on behalf of some of the more important ad agencies in Milan, mainly for food products packaging. From October 2011 to May 2015 I have been member of the board in AI - Associazione Illustratori.
