Family House in residential area Kunratice in Prague was two term final project of undergraduate programme of the Faculty of Architecture in Prague.
three bedrooms with two bathrooms. The roof is accessible and connects the house with fourth direction - there is a view above the rock.
First term, I worked on the study of the house. The site is very specific it has three terrain levels which predetermined the mass solution of the building. On the first floor, there is a garage, entrance hall and technical room. On the second floor, there is main living area with kitchen, bathroom and bedroom for parents with bathhroom. From this floor, there is an access to the garden. On the third floor, there are
I chose very interesting construction system for this house. The core of the building (where staircase and instalations are) is made of monolitic concrete, all other horizontal and vertical constructions are from solid wood panels KLH. In the second term, I made all drawings, details and technical reports that are part of the documentation for building permit.

Orionka is a part of Prague. It is situated at the interface between two urban structures - big villas with gardens on one side and block development on the other side. The site is bounded by three streets and faces newly developed square on the west side. The programme of this project is housing for retired people with services. I designed six villa houses in the private garden which offers

amazing living standards. In front of that there is a tower house reflecting block development and heading the square. Restaurant, leasable commercial units and medical centre are placed there and serve for surrounding district. All buildings are connected by two-storey underground garages. It reflects different high levels of both converging streets. Construction system is concrete monolit with brick partitions. The facade is made of concrete panels colored in four shades.

Professor Lola Shepperd University of Waterloo, Ontario, Canada. The topic for studio work was Greebelt, greybelt and whitebelt in Greater Toronto Area. We worked on master plan for site 1x2 km in groups of two and then individually, we worked on specific programme on the site of 50x250 m. Halton Hills suffers of lack of water and urbanization is about to come to this locality very soon. So I created a damm which serves for new development. We should think about multilevel programme, we had to combine functions and try to find a good combination how

to develop and not to destroy landscape. Our main programme is horses and living. On the hill, I designed terraced buildings copying the topography and allowing the view of the horse field on the one side and water on the other one. On the ground floor, there are stables and public functions, on the other floors, there are apartments.

02 | Panoramatic overview
Zlichov Distillery Conversion to public multifunctional centre was my final diploma project of the master programme. The site is an outstanding locality in Prague city centre. Former industrial area has been running to seed because of more than ten years of abandonment. I tried to find new functions which will be sustainable economically and valuable citywide.
vehicle, train, tram and bus traffic.
Assuming residential development along the river I focused on administrative, commercial, leisure, health and social functions. The site is the very south spike of Smichov district and heads all the traffic from the south to the city center. I created it as a hub for
All proposed functions as a restaurant, leasable commercial units, municipal library, health center, swimming pool with wellness programme, offices and panoramatic rooftop cafĂŠ have both, local and citywide importance.
The chimney and the building of alcohol brewery are listed monuments, all other buildings aren’t valuable architectonically or historically and are really devastated. So I decided to preserve only these two buildings and let them stand on newly designed square.

Hotel Moninec WORK
INTERIOR
03 | Reception 01 | Tripple room

02 | Restaurant
Investor and building company has the same owner so it was really exceptional situation and oportunity. They hired me to design the interior of the hotel, to help to find contractors and to coordinate contractors on the site. I spent two months on the site during finishing. I worked with small budget aiming the hotel to act like four star. The investor was really discerning and hadn’t knew for a long time what he really wanted so I made tons of visualisations, submitted tons of samples and finally, we agreed on concept as well as on every article.

Family House WORK
STUDY+PERMIT
03 | Situation 01 | Mass visualisation
04 | First floor plan 1:50
I worked with my friend M.Arch. Petr Bedrna on study and documentation for building permit. The site is in a new residential area in newly urbanizing village 50 km out of Prague. Nearby, there are old country houses from the one side, weird modern family houses from the other and finally new modern functionalist development including rowhouses.
02 | Composition of floors and walls
We made few variants of disposition and masses with facades. After we agreed on final version of the study with the client, we did all documentation for building permit. Technical reports and all drawings including cooperation with and coordination of designers of utility facilities and consultation with state authorities.
We wanted to react on that mess with rational mass. Our main goal was certaianly to fulfill client’s wishes.
