NCL created The Haven by Norwegian® – a ship-within-a-ship concept for luxury-loving guests allowing you to enjoy all the facilities and activities of a big ship, while having a private area to retire back to. On Norwegian Viva this exclusive, ultra-premium, and keycard only access area has been redefined. The Haven’s public areas and 107 suites have been designed by a renowned Italian designer. The area features an expansive sundeck, a stunning infinity pool overlooking the ship’s wake and an outdoor spa with a glass-walled sauna and cold room.

Norwegian Cruise Line has been breaking the boundaries of traditional cruising for 55 years as an innovator in global cruise travel, and will soon unveil Norwegian Viva, the second of six brand-new Prima Class ships. She will be based in the Mediterranean cruising from the ports of Lisbon Portugal; Venice (from Trieste) and Rome (Civitavecchia), Italy; and Athens (Piraeus), Greece.

Norwegian Viva is as much a destination as the places she will sail in. Mirroring the upscale design and structure of her sister ship Norwegian Prima, Norwegian Viva is also built by renowned Italian shipbuilder Fincantieri of Italy, and debuts at 294 metres long, 142,500 gross tonnes and accommodates 3,219 guests. She boasts elevated onboard experiences, more wide-open spaces, thoughtful and stunning design. Guests will choose from a large range of accommodations including NCL’s largest inside, ocean view and balcony category staterooms, and

Norwegian Viva will sport a variety of recreational activities suited to all age groups, making her an ideal choice for multi-generational family group holidays. Meander along Ocean Boulevard, a 44,000 square foot outdoor walkway which wraps around the entire ship, or The Concourse boasting an outdoor sculpture garden, or on Oceanwalk’s glass bridges, and to infinity style pools at Infinity Beach. For the thrill seekers try out the fastest freefall-drop, dry slides at sea, and the largest three-level racetrack at sea. There is something for all ages and interest.

Norwegian Prima and Viva are pushing the boundaries of traditional cruise cuisine with elevated food and beverage experiences. A highlight is the Metropolitan Bar, NCL’s first sustainably focused bar which showcases more than 20 biodynamic wines produced using organic farming methods. The main dining restaurant options have been modernised, and Hudson’s Restaurant boasts 270-degree views overlooking the stern.

Norwegian Viva is set to live up to the excitement and records set by her sister ship. 
