CHOOSE TO MUSE

Silversea prides themselves on their guest suite Butlers. If guests are travelling alone, or need some extra care, their Butler is a guardian angel. Whether assisting with a beautifully set table for in-suite dining, unpacking, laundry service, or shoe cleaning, your Butler is there to see to your comfort and needs. One afternoon we asked for champagne to be sent to our suite for a celebration - it came within minutes and was followed by another bottle the next day, and the next. Silversea do not charge for beverages onboard, so it was a lovely personal and thoughtful touch we enjoyed.

All accommodations on Silversea Muse are suites. Our Balcony Suite category was spacious with very comfy queensize bed, walk-in wardrobe, marbled bathroom with walk-in shower and separate bath, Bulgari bathroom products, and spacious balcony to enjoy those fresh sea breezes. Your suite is a haven to retire to and relax in. “

THERE is something uniquely satisfying about a smaller ship and that is the intimacy, the friendly camaraderie and excitement of smaller ports and off-the-beatentrack destinations. Silversea’s intimate, ultra-luxury ships can sail narrow waterways into the heart of a city and tie up right at the pier while others must anchor offshore.

Silverseas Silver Muse has been cruising ‘down under’ during our 2023 summer. At 596 passengers she is small enough to offer a cruising experience that is big on warm personalised service, and interesting itineraries.

Bronwyn Towersey, Business Development Manager for Cruise World, cruised onboard Silversea Muse around New Zealand. “The ship exudes European style and flair, and within the few minutes of being on board, we were greeted by our personal Butler ‘Lori’, offered a hand towel to refresh our hands, followed by a glass of Monopole Heidsieck champagne. This is standard procedure for Silverseas – to make guests feel extra special, and we certainly did.

Silver Muse has eight dining venues including the aromatic Asian fusion cuisine in Indochine, butter sauce drizzled over Lobster Tail in Atlantide, fine dining in Silver Note, delightful Japanese Sashimi and Sushi presented as small works of art, and simple fare of superb crispy crust pizza poolside. Towersey says “The biggest decision of the day was where we were going to dine that night, and the specialty coffees, international wine collection, cocktails, that delicious free flowing champagne, and choices for a nightcap to round off the day, was an absolute treat.” The ship provides a wonderful cruising holiday, paired with dynamic destinations where Silversea explores and showcases the culture, cuisine, history, people, wildlife and landscapes. Towersey recommends a New Zealand cruise to “see our own backyard from a different perspective”. 
