What nourishes you?

As entrepreneurs, as moms, and as women with many things that we are balancing, it is quite

typical to find ourselves feeling empty and depleted at the end of a day.

Most often I find this is

because of what was exerted physically, mentally and emotionally, but it may also be because

we tend to ignore our wins due to the many To-Dos still on our list at the end of every day.

THE SOLUTION: Build the muscle and give yourself permission and encouragement to

nourish

yourself daily.

As you embark on the creation of your self nourishing day, it is important to include at least

one thing from your "What nourishes you" list onto your "Day of self nourishment" list. As you

can see from the sample, some of the things on the list should be easy things to do at any time,

and other things may be a little more time consuming or intricate.

It's time to make your list!

1. Taking a walk with my daughters and looking for all of the

heart shapes all around us

2. Feeding ducks like I used to do with my grandma

3. Hiking, exploring and connecting with nature

4. Listening to an amazing meditation from a favorite mentor

5. Pampering myself in some way

7. Researching something to learn something new

8. Cooking a favorite meal for the family

9. Sharing stories about our family with my children

What does your day of SELF NOURISHMENT look like? Is your day filled with love? Do you feel appreciated? Are you spoken to with words of affirmation? Are you listened to fully? Are you supported or given time and space so you can feel calm and peaceful? Who are you spending your day with?

What are you doing, and how are you feeling? What have you allowed in the past to negatively impact your day that you wouldn't allow into this day?

Fill in the blank above with a descriptive word that captures how you wish this day to make you feel.

Is it your dream day, happy day, loving day, free day, graceful day, tranquil day, easy day, perfect day, flowing day, creative day, miraculous day, amazing day, fun day, etc... (you can print this sheet as often as you wish to create your day)? Then write an intention that will support the fruition of the specific day you are creating.

Fill each of the numbers in the list below with something that will support the creation of the day you are declaring you will have. Most of us try to pack EVERYTHING that we can into our day. Over years of research, study and practice, I believe that there are only seven things to get done daily to live a powerful, focused, and intentional life. The 8th is simply a bonus because I love to have a cherry on top!
