Butterfly Classroom News
This week we talked about winter clothing. We made cotton ball hats, stick people dressed for winter and bingo dot mittens. We also reviewed our days of the week and months of the year. We read a lot of fun winter stories. Next week we will be talking about Christmas. We will also be having a Christmas pajama party on Friday, December 23, 2016. A sign up sheet is on the door if you would like to bring something for the class. We really appreciate it. Have a great weekend

Caterpillar Classroom News "The stockings were hung by the chimney with care." The caterpillars continued the Christmas fun by decorating stockings, painting candles and creating a handprint wreath to hang by our classroom fireplace! We practiced being Santa Claus by wearing Santa hats and filling bags with toys! Ho ho ho! We brought the winter into our room by adding snow to our sensory table to explore! We also talked about the true meaning of Christmas and read books about baby Jesus. We sang "Happy Birthday Jesus ", played with a nativity set and created a nativity scene! Next week we will take a "trip" on the Polar Express !
