PDO will be closed the week of Monday, December 26 to Friday, December 30, 2016 and will re-open on Monday, January 2, 2017. Tuition will be collected on Thursday, December 22, 2016 for the first week in January: January 2-6, 2017. NO tuition will be collected on Thursday, December 29, 2016. If your child will not be in attendance at PDO, please call as soon as you can to let the staff know. 779-548-0510.

Butterfly Classroom News
This week we talked about Winter. We made mittens and snow flakes and we made ice cube paintings! The children also practiced tracing their names. We are gearing up for the holiday season and the children are making ornaments for our class Christmas tree! They really enjoyed making the ornaments. Next week we will continue to talk about winter. We had even more fun this week in the Butterfly Room! We were visited the North Pole and made our own snow. We also played with polar bears and made cute penguins. The class read several books of our Artic Animal friends and played a couple of penguin math games. Next week we will be getting ready for Christmas!!

Caterpillar Classroom News The caterpillar room is really getting in the Christmas spirit! We put up our Christmas tree and made our own ornaments to decorate it with! We listened to Christmas music and sang "jingle bells " while we played musical instruments! We painted Christmas trees at the easel, used glue and sparkly confetti to decorate foil trees and dipped paper tubes in paint to stamp trees. We also worked on a special present for our special parents!
Next week we will continue getting ready for Santa!
