2016 Tax receipts for childcare were emailed out three times. Please check your old emails if you did not receive.

If your child will be entering kindergarten in the fall and will be needing before and/ or after school care, please keep an eye on the newsletter and other information regarding registration for the PDO Before and After School Program.

This week we talked about Earth recycling and outer space.

We used Q-Tips to paint white onto black paper to make an outer space picture. We painted with puffy paint on a paper plate to make the Earth and we made a recycled paper collage. We also used red playdough at a center. The children had fun writing in their journals. We had confetti and cups and spoons in the sensory Table this week. We also had a fun book of choice time and the children really enjoyed that.

Writing in our journals!

Lots of fine and large motor fun in the Caterpillar room this week! One of our favorite fine motor activities was putting noodles on and off of straws stuck in playdough! We also sorted noodles by color, painted with corn syrup and watercolor, and squeezed glue to make fun collages! For large muscle development we danced with our friends, did the freeze dance, took nature walks and balanced on the balance beam! We also wished "Happy Birthday " to Ivy!
