2016 Tax receipts for childcare were emailed out last week. If you did not receive, please email me for a copy.
This week we talked about arctic animals. We made paper plate polar bears and talked about how fast they can run and how much they weigh. We also made penguins and snow owls, snowflakes and a snow scene! We have been practicing writing in our journals and tracing our names. We had pretend snow in the sensory table and also sang the song, “Polar Bear, Polar Bear”. Next week’s theme is Oceans. Have a great weekend!!
The caterpillars had a fun week at school! We are continuing to enjoy the individual exploration and instruction that our new curriculum is allowing. We have also enjoyed playing outside, taking nature walks and building snowmen with "snow "(shave cream and conditioner ) inside. For a fun art, sensory and science activity, we finger painted on bubble wrap! For fine muscle and large motor development, we used bundles of markers to decorate a large box! We also want to wish Bella a happy birthday!
The curriculum this week was all about gross motor and cognitive development.
