Hope you enjoyed your 4th of July holiday! We will see you back tomorrow!
The caterpillars had fun exploring dirt, seeds and plants this week! We scooped dirt into cups, spread grass seed and decorated the cups to make DIY Chia pets! Then we mixed glue and water into the dirt to fingerpaint a garden! We painted our feet to make a strawberry for our
garden. Lots of messy fun! On Thursday, we took a field trip to Susie ' s garden patch to pick real strawberries and discover how they grow! Of course, we had to
taste a few in the process. Yum! We also baked cupcakes and decorated them red, white and blue. We hope everyone has a safe 4th of July. See you back on the 10th when we go to Doty park and splash pad!
This week we talked about the farm. We corn cob painted with bubble wrap and we also made fire-
work pictures with straws and paper towel rolls for our bulletin board. We had corn in the sensory table and the children enjoyed a farmer's market in our dramatic play area. We also took a fun field trip to Mr. Freeze for ice
cream. The children enjoyed that. What
