Butterfly Classroom News This week we talked about Halloween we made pumpkins, skeletons, bats and Frankenstein. We also practiced adding and subtracting, name recognition and journal writing. See you at the fall fest on Saturday from 10 to 12 at the church. Next weeks theme is apples and pumpkins. Have a great weekend!!

More Butterfly Classroom Fun This week during the afternoon hours in the Butterfly Room, we were learning about pumpkins and apples. We read a few books on pumpkins and their life cycles. We also read "Ten Apples Up On Top" and practiced balancing and counting apples up on our heads. Our class made cute paper pumpkin lanterns and pine cone apples. We also are getting ready for the Fall Festival this coming Saturday at the Methodist Church. Hope to see you there. fun activities for the Fall Festival this coming Saturday at 10-12.

Caterpillar Classroom News This week the caterpillars explored the beauty of God's creation in autumn! We went on several nature walks to observe the leaves changing colors and falling gracefully to the ground. At circle time we sang Autumn leaves are falling down, counted colorful leaves on a tree, and played a directional language game with a leaf! We used sponges, colored cellophane, yarn and real leaves and paint to create colorful leaves! See you Saturday at the church for our fun Fall Fest! Next Tuesday our class goes to the pumpkin patch!
