Transfer students are encouraged to apply for admission at least three months prior to planned enrollment. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. Students will receive the admission decision and transcript evaluation typically within one week of appying.

Faculty advising plays a vital role in the student experience at Monmouth, as each transfer student is matched with a faculty adviser in his or her major.

The academic year is organized into two semesters. Each semester students take four course credits (equivalent to 16 semester hours). Monmouth will accept a maximum of 64 semester hours = two full years of study.

Students must complete a minimum of 16 course credits (64 semester hours) at Monmouth to earn the Bachelor of Arts degree. Only grades of C- or better are acceptable as transfer credit.
