Der Wohnraum versinnbildlicht die weibliche Seite. Die Tapete lässt ein modernes Wiener Flair entstehen, das an Wien um 1900 erinnert. Für das Muster der Tapete im Wohnraum steht die Ringelblume oder Calendula Pate. Das besondere Merkmal dieser Blume ist, dass sich Ihr Blütenkopf immer zur Sonne hin ausrichtet. Dem entspricht die Symbolik, dass der Mensch seinem vorgeschriebenen Lebensweg folgen soll. Außerdem ist sie die Liebfrauenblume und hat einen starken Bezug zur Gottesmutter. Im Englischen wird sie auch Marigold genannt. Ich habe die noch halb geschlossene Blüte für mein Muster gewählt, weil sie so wie eine Krone wirkt. Durch die ornamentierten Blätter, das Symbol des Kelchs (der Blüte und Blätter in sich aufnimmt) und die Farbe Gold entsteht ein direkter Bezug zur Zeit des Jugendstils in Wien. The living room symbolizes the female side. The wallpaper creates a modern Viennese flair reminiscent of Vienna around 1900. The pattern of the wallpaper was inspired by the marigold or calendula. The notable feature of this flower is that she always faces her head to the sun. For me this symbol indicates that humans should follow their prescribed path of life. The calendula is also the flower of love and has a strong connection to the Mother of God. In English she is also called Marigold. I chose the half-closed flower for my pattern because it looks like a crown. The ornamental leaves, the symbol of the calyx (which takes bloom and leaves) and the color gold create a direct reference to the time of Art Nouveau in Vienna.
