On September 15-16, 2017: Join us for a weekend of film and community Mountainfilm on Tour, brought to you by the Arts Council of Big Sky and presenting sponsor Grizzly Outfitters, is a collection of films meant to inspire and educate audiences to create a better world. This year, we are hosting TWO FABULOUS DAYS OF FILM!

Four global keynote speakers sharing stories, life lessons and music from the WMPAC stage. These change-makers have been curated by HATCH to showcase examples of diverse learning principles of the IB program’s ideology.

Year two of our annual event kicks off at the Warren Miller Performing Arts Center on Friday, Sept. 15 at 6pm. Join us for a Red Carpet Reception, catered by local chef Lizzie Peyton, followed by a screening of feature-length documentary “Charged� – an audience favorite from the year’s Mountainfilm festival in Telluride, Colorado. After the film, stay in your seat for a personal Q&A with special guests, film producer Dennis Aig and film subject Jennifer Jane.

On Saturday, Sept. 16 at 6pm we’ll be at the Lone Peak Cinema where we’ll again host a pre-screening party catered by Lizzie Peyton. At 7pm, we’ll fill the two theaters to enjoy some of the best short documentaries from the 2017 Mountainfilm festival. Afterwards, take your pick: stay at the Cinema for a post-event party with live music, or head over to Ousel & Spur for “Booze & Banter� – an opportunity to continue the conversation about these thoughtprovoking films.

A HATCH showcase in collaboration with the Big Sky School District and the newly launched IB curriculum. As a new IB World School, Big Sky School District is preparing students to become active, caring, lifelong learners who demonstrate respect for themselves and others. Founded in 2004 and based in Big Sky, HATCH is a global network, and a series of curated experiences designed to catalyze creativity and mentorship to collaborate on solutions to global challenges. HATCH, Lone Peak High School, and the IB Program share common values, and as such seek to collaborate to provide well-rounded experiences for students and the greater community of Big Sky.
