2010 Destinations Montana University 2004 Career Graduate Survey Montana State State University–Bozeman

2010 Career Destinations survey to determine placement rates and salary survey information from recent MSU graduates (Summer 2009, Fall 2009, and Spring 2010). Graduates were requested to participate in the survey to provide relevant information

school, salary location, etc. 2,443 graduates were surveyed over a ten-month period. 1,218 graduates completed the survey (50% response rate). 81.5% (n=990) of 2010 graduates reported they were employed full-time or in graduate school full-time (66.5% = full-time employed, 11.4% = full-time graduate school, 3.6% = both employed and in graduate school full-time). 10.9% (n=135) report being employed or in graduate school part-time (9.7% = part-time employed, 0.2% = part-time graduate school, 1.0% = both employed and in graduate school part-time). Only 4.4% (n=53) of and planning to enroll in graduate school. 2.9% (n=35) indicated they were neither seeking employment nor admission into graduate school. 59% of respondents reported accepting full-time employment in the state of Montana upon graduation. Note: Not all respondents answered all questions. Statistics, therefore, are not always based upon the response of the total sample group.
