Rev. Vincent O. Moss & Sis. Dorothy Moss A Short History of New Vision Baptist Church New Vision Baptist Church was established on 16th October, 1997. The first service was held at the home of Rev. Moss, its first Pastor, in Golden Gates #1. The official commissioning of the Church was held on Sunday, 31st March, 1998, at Calvary Deliverance Church, East Street South. The sermon was preached by Bishop V. G. Clarke. Services were held at Rev. Moss’ home for several months, until a location was found at Robinson Road and Seventh Street the Grove, upstairs in the Five Star Plaza. We held ground-breaking ceremonies and have had steady progress with our building project. The first phase of the administration building is now completed and for the sanctuary is near completion. New Vision Baptist Church officially moved to the new site at Dignity Gardens, Carmichael Road, on Sunday, 14th June, 2009, and currently worships in the administration building. New Vision Baptist Church has a number of functioning ministries: • Senior Choir • Sunday School • Men’s Ministry • Women’s Ministry • Evangelism / Outreach
• Dance Ministry • Band / Music Ministry • Youth Ministry • Ushers

New Vision Baptist Church 14th Anniversary Perfect submission, all is at rest I in my Saviour am happy and blest, Watching and waiting, looking above, Filled with His goodness, lost in His love. “Joy Unspeakable” I have found His grace is all complete, He supplieth every need; While I sit and learn at Jesus’ feet, I am free, yes, free indeed. It is joy unspeakable and full of glory, Full of glory, full of glory; It is joy unspeakable and full of glory, Oh, the half has never yet been told.
I have found the joy no tongue can tell, How its waves of glory roll; It is like a great o’erflowing well, Springing up within my soul. “He Touched Me” Shackled by a heavy burden, 'Neath a load of guilt and shame. Then the hand of Jesus touched me, And now I am no longer the same.

“O It Is Jesus” Oh it is Jesus, oh it is Jesus, It is Jesus in my soul. For I have touched the hem of His garment, And His blood has made me whole. “Glory, Glory, Hallelujah” Glory, glory, hallelujah, Since I lay my burden down. Glory, glory, hallelujah, Since I lay my burden down. All my sickness will be over, When I lay my burden down...
All my troubles will be over, I have found the pleasure I once craved, When I lay my burden down. It is joy and peace within; What a wondrous blessing, I am saved I feel much better, so much better, From the awful gulf of sin. Since I laid my burden down… I have found that hope so bright and clear, Living in the realm of grace; Oh, the Saviour’s presence is so near, I can see His smiling face.

“What A Mighty God We Serve” What a Mighty God we serve, What a Mighty God we serve, Angels bow before Him, Heaven and earth adore Him, What a Mighty God we serve. “He Lifted Me Up” He lifted me up, up, up from the miry clay, He planted my feet on the Rock to stay, And that is the reason why I’m singing this song, My Jesus came down, down, down and lifted me, up, up, up.

And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto Me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I Am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

“Victory In Jesus” I heard an old, old story, how a Saviour came from glory, How He gave His life on Calvary to save a wretch like me; I heard about His groaning, of His precious Blood's atoning, Then I repented of my sins and won the victory. O victory in Jesus, my Saviour, forever. He sought me and bought me with His redeeming Blood; He loved me ere I knew Him, and all my love is due Him, He plunged me to victory, beneath the cleansing flood. I heard about His healing, of His cleansing pow'r revealing. How He made the lame to walk again and caused the blind to see; And then I cried, "Dear Jesus, come and heal my broken spirit," And somehow Jesus came and bro't to me the victory. I heard about a mansion He has built for me in glory. And I heard about the streets of gold beyond the crystal sea; About the angels singing, and the old redemption story, And some sweet day I'll sing up there the song of victory.

New Vision Baptist Church 14th Anniversary “The Church’s One Foundation” The church's one foundation is Jesus Christ her Lord; She is His new creation by water and the Word. From Heaven He came and sought her to be His holy bride; With His own blood He bought her, and for her life He died.
“Sweet, Sweet Spirit” There’s a sweet, sweet spirit in this place, And I know that it’s the presence of the Lord; There are sweet expressions on each face, And I know they feel the presence of the Lord
Elect from every nation, yet one o'er all the earth; Her charter of salvation, one Lord, one faith, one birth; One holy name she blesses, partakes one holy food, And to one hope she presses, with every grace endued.
Sweet Holy Spirit, sweet Heavenly Dove, Stay right here with us, filling us with your love; And for these blessings, we lift our hearts in praise, Without a doubt we’ll know, that we have been revived, When we shall leave this place.
Though with a scornful wonder we see her sore oppressed, By schisms rent asunder, by heresies distressed, Yet saints their watch are keeping; their cry goes up, "How long?" And soon the night of weeping shall be the morn of song. Mid toil and tribulation, and tumult of her war, She waits the consummation of peace forevermore; 'Til, with the vision glorious, her longing eyes are blest, And the great church victorious shall be the church at rest. Yet she on earth hath union with God the Three in One, And mystic sweet communion with those whose rest is won. O happy ones and holy, Lord, give us grace that we Like them, the meek and lowly, on high may dwell with Thee.
There are blessings you cannot receive, ‘Til you know Him in His fullness and believe; You’re the one to profit when you say, “I am going to walk with Jesus all the way”. If you say He saved you from your sin, Now you’re weak, you’re bound and cannot enter in; You can make it right if you will yield, You’ll enjoy the Holy Spirit that we feel. “Blessed Assurance” Blessèd assurance, Jesus is mine! O what a foretaste of glory divine! Heir of salvation, purchase of God, Born of His Spirit, washed in His blood. This is my story, this is my song, Praising my Savior, all the day long; This is my story, this is my song, Praising my Savior, all the day long. Perfect submission, perfect delight, Visions of rapture now burst on my sight; Angels descending bring from above Echoes of mercy, whispers of love.
