Hymns Souls in danger look above, Jesus completely saves, He will lift you by His love, out of the angry waves. He’s the Master of the sea, billows His will obey, He your Saviour wants to be, be saved today.
“FILL MY WAY WITH LOVE” Let me walk, blessed Lord, in the way Thou hast gone, Leading straight to the land above; Giving cheer everywhere to the sad and the lone, Fill my way every day with love.
Church Flag Pledge I pledge allegiance to our Church Flag, and to the doctrine for which it stands one God, one Faith, one Mind, and one Church for all. Amen!
Fill my way every day with love, As I walk with the heav'nly Dove; Let me go all the while with a song and a smile, Fill my way every day with love.
“I LOVE TO WALK WITH JESUS” O I love to walk with Jesus Like the publicans of old, When He gathered them about Him And the blessèd tidings told; How He came to bring deliverance To the captives in distress, Take away our ev’ry burden, Giving perfect peace and rest.
Keep me close to the side of my Saviour and guide, Let me never in darkness rove; Keep my path free from wrath and my soul satisfied, Fill my way every day with love.
I will follow where He leadeth; I will pasture where He feedeth. I will follow all the way, Lord. I will follow Jesus ev’ry day.
Soon this race will be o'er and I'll travel no more, But abide in my home above; Let me sing, blessed King, all the way to that shore, Fill my way every day with love.
O I love to walk with Jesus Like the man of long ago Who had tarried by the wayside Near the gates of Jericho, Jesus heard his cry for mercy, Gave him back his sight that day, And immediately he followed Jesus all along the way.
“LOVE LIFTED ME” I was sinking deep in sin, far from the peaceful shore, Very deeply stained within, sinking to rise no more, But the Master of the sea, heard my despairing cry, From the waters lifted me, now safe am I.
Bible Pledge I pledge allegiance to the Bible, God’s Holy Word. I will make it a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path. I will hide it in my heart that I might not sin against God…
2
O I love to walk with Jesus All the way to Calv’ry’s brow, Gaze upon that scene of suffering While my tears of sorrow flow. There He tells me how He loves me— Takes my ev’ry sin away; So I follow Him so gladly, Lead me anywhere He may.
Love lifted me! Love lifted me! When nothing else could help Love lifted me! Love lifted me! Love lifted me! When nothing else could help Love lifted me! All my heart to Him I give, ever to Him I’ll cling In His blessèd presence live, ever His praises sing, Love so mighty and so true, merits my soul’s best songs, Faithful, loving service too, to Him belongs.
O sometime I’ll walk with Jesus In that land of endless day, When our journey here is over And we’ve reached our home to stay. Then I’ll walk with him forever, Sing His praises o’er and o’er, And with all the saints in glory Love, and worship, and adore.

“Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children; and walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given Himself for an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet smelling savour.” - Ephesians 5:1-2. Greetings, grace, peace, blessings and love to the 73rd Annual District Convention of the Churches of God of Prophecy in the Crooked Island District in the worthy name of Jesus Christ. The gathering of true worshippers at the Cripple Hill Church for the three days Annual Convocation and Spiritual Feast of fat things from the Table of the Lord comes at a time when our beloved country is besieged and beset by crime, violence and immorality. The root cause of our National Crisis is sin, and sin is a direct consequence of people's failure to “WALK IN LOVE” with God and with their fellowmen. When people obey the first and great commandment, and similarly adhere to the second, to love their neighbour as themselves, they eliminate the probability to transgress the laws of God and to harm their fellowmen. Love, you see, covers the multitude of sins. And so, as you focus on the theme, “WALK IN LOVE,” let there be a revival of love among the people of God. Let the truth be spoken in love, and let be shown one to another without dissimulation! God bless you! May you have a glorious, life changing convention as you continue to “WALK HUMBLY WITH GOD IN LOVE!”

Love is a mark of a Christian. First Corinthians 12:31 says “Eagerly desire the greater gifts (NIV). These words refer to gifts mentioned in the entire chapter of 1 Corinthians 12 — teaching, preaching, healing and administration—but in this one phrase, Paul stated that there was something greater than any of these. There are several kinds of love that are good and necessary— parental love for children and a child’s love for parents, one’s love for country, the love between a husband and wife; but the greatest of them all is Christian love. We are often negligent in our love. We love only those people who seem loveable or who love us in return. God is not like that; he loves us all, even when we do not deserve to be loved. If we are to love like God, we must let our love reach out to everyone. As I greet and welcome all of you who have come to share in this 73rd Annual District Convention of the Church of God of Prophecy in Crooked Island, I want to challenge each Christian to strive for Christian love (1 Cor. 14:1). To attain this Christian love, we must keep sin out and cultivate love. We must live close to the Cross on which Jesus died. Secondly, I want to challenge each Christian to practice Christian love. This starts with those to who we are the closest and moves out to all people of the world. By this should all men know that we are His disciples, if we have love one for another. As we focus this weekend on our theme “WALK IN LOVE,” it is my prayer that each of us will bear the fruit of Spirit, which begins with love.

Ephesians 5:1-16 Be imitators of God, therefore, as dearly loved children 2 and live a life of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God. 3 But among you there must not be even a hint of sexual immorality, or of any kind of impurity, or of greed, because these are improper for God's holy people. 4 Nor should there be obscenity, foolish talk or coarse joking, which are out of place, but rather thanksgiving. 5 For of this you can be sure: No immoral, impure or greedy person—such a man is an idolater—has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God. 6 Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of such things God's wrath comes on those who are disobedient. 7 Therefore do not be partners with them. 8 For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light 9 (for the fruit of the light consists in all goodness, righteousness and truth) 10 and find out what pleases the Lord. 11 Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them. 12 For it is shameful even to mention what the disobedient do in secret. 13 But everything exposed by the light becomes visible, 14 for it is light that makes everything visible. This is why it is said: "Wake up, O sleeper, rise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you." 15 Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise, 16 making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil.

1 John 3:1-18 How great is the love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him. 2 Dear friends, now we are children of God, and what we will be has not yet been made known. But we know that when he appears, we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is. 3 Everyone who has this hope in him purifies himself, just as he is pure. 4 Everyone who sins breaks the law; in fact, sin is lawlessness. 5 But you know that he appeared so that he might take away our sins. And in him is no sin. 6 No one who lives in him keeps on sinning. No one who continues to sin has either seen him or known him. 7 Dear children, do not let anyone lead you astray. He who does what is right is righteous, just as he is righteous. 8 He who does what is sinful is of the devil, because the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the devil's work. 9 No one who is born of God will continue to sin, because God's seed remains in him; he cannot go on sinning, because he has been born of God. 10 This is how we know who the children of God are and who the children of the devil are: Anyone who does not do what is right is not a child of God; nor is anyone who does not love his brother. 11 This is the message you heard from the beginning: We should love one another. 12 Do not be like Cain, who belonged to the evil one and murdered his brother. And why did he murder him? Because his own actions were evil and his brother's were righteous. 13 Do not be surprised, my brothers, if the world hates you. 14 We know that we have passed from death to life, because we love our brothers. Anyone who does not love remains in death. 15 Anyone who hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life in him. 16 This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers. 17 If anyone has material possessions and sees his brother in need but has no pity on him, how can the love of God be in him? 18 Dear children, let us not love with words or tongue but with actions and in truth.
