From the union were born four children - Ricardo, Katie, Pedro and Tito. He joined St. James Native Baptist Church in 1972, where he began his ministry as an usher. He served in various auxiliaries at St. James, and was ordained a Deacon on May 23, 1985. Rev. Vincent Moss was called to the Gospel Ministry in May of 1988, and during the Conference in May 1990, was ordained a full Minister. Rev. The Ministry is presently preparing the grounds to build a sanctuary - New Vision Cathedral, which will include a Nursery and School. The years have been very rough at times, but God still provides!

New Vision Baptist Church 15th Pastoral Anniversary
God will only use the soldier He can trust, Keep on the firing line; If you’ll wear a crown then bear the cross you must, Keep on the firing line. Life is but to labor for the Master dear, Help to banish evil and to spread good cheer; Great you’ll be rewarded for your service here, So keep on the firing line.
How could I forget His love And how could I forget His mercies He satisfies, He satisfies, He satisfies my desires. “GREAT IS THY FAITHFULNESS” Great is Thy faithfulness, O God my Father; There is no shadow of turning with Thee; Thou changest not, Thy compassions, they fail not; As Thou hast been, Thou forever will be.
When we get to heaven, brother, we’ll be glad, Keep on the firing line; How we’ll praise the Saviour for the call we had, Keep on the firing line; When we see the souls that we have helped to win, Leading them to Jesus, from the paths of sin, With a shout of welcome, we will all march in, So keep on the firing line.
Great is Thy faithfulness! Great is Thy faithfulness! Morning by morning new mercies I see. All I have needed Thy hand hath provided; Great is Thy faithfulness, Lord, unto me! Summer and winter and springtime and harvest, Sun, moon and stars in their courses above Join with all nature in manifold witness To Thy great faithfulness, mercy and love.
- - - PRAISE & WORSHIP SONGS - - “ALPHA AND OMEGA” You are Alpha, and Omega, We worship You, our Lord, You are worthy to be praised. We give You all the glory, We worship You, our Lord, You are worthy to be praised. “ALL DAY LONG” All day long I've been with Jesus, All day long my lips have uttered praise; All day long my heart, my soul's been lifted in worship, All day long I have been with Him. No way could I ever honour You enough, For all You have done for me. So I will offer up thanksgiving from my heart, And praise continually. “THINK ABOUT HIS LOVE” Think about His love, think about His goodness, Think about His grace, that's brought us trough. For as high as the heavens above, So great is the measure of our father's love. Great is the measure of our Father's love.

Pardon for sin and a peace that endureth Thine own dear presence to cheer and to guide; Strength for today and bright hope for tomorrow, Blessings all mine, with ten thousand beside! “GUIDE ME, O THOU GREAT JEHOVAH” Guide me, O Thou great Jehovah, Pilgrim thro' this barren land; I am weak, but Thou are mighty, Hold me with Thy powerful hand; Bread of heaven, feed me till I want no more. Open now the crystal fountain, Whence the healing waters flow; let the fiery, cloudy pillar Lead me all my journey thro'; Strong Deliverer, be Thou still my strength and shield. When I tread the verge of Jordan, Bid, my anxious fears subside; Bear me thro' the swelling current Land me safe on Canaan's side; Songs of praises I will ever give to Thee.

A Short History of New Vision Baptist Church New Vision Baptist Church was established on 15th October, 1997. The first service was held at the home of Rev. Moss, its first Pastor, in Golden Gates #1. The official commissioning of the Church was held on Sunday, 31st March, 1998, at Calvary Deliverance Church, East Street South. The sermon was preached by Bishop V. G. Clarke. Services were held at Rev. Moss’ home for several months, until a location was found at Robinson Road and Seventh Street the Grove, upstairs in the Five Star Plaza. The Church still worships at this present location, but hope to move to our new facilities Destiny Gardens, Carmichael Road. We held groundbreaking ceremonies and have had steady progress with our building project. We have almost completed the first phase of the administration building and have laid the foundation for the sanctuary. New Vision Baptist Church has a number of functioning ministries: • Senior Choir • Women’s Ministry • Band / Music Ministry • Sunday School • Evangelism / Outreach • Youth Ministry • Men’s Ministry • Dance Ministry • Ushers Trustees: Rev. New Vision Baptist Church 15th Pastoral Anniversary
Goodbye to sin and things that confound. Naught of the world shall turn me around. Daily I'm working, I'm praying too, And glory to God, I'm going through.
Lift Him up by living as a Christian ought, Let the world in you the Saviour see; Then men will gladly follow Him Who once taught, “I’ll draw all men unto Me.”
“BLESSED ASSURANCE” Blessed assurance, Jesus is mine! Oh, what a foretaste of glory divine! Heir of salvation, purchase of God, Born of His Spirit, washed in His blood.
“I’M ON THE BATTLEFIELD” I am on the battlefield for my Lord. I'm on the battlefield for my Lord, And I promised Him that I Would serve Him 'til I die; I'm on the battlefield for my Lord.
This is my story, this is my song, Praising my Saviour all the day long; This is my story, this is my song, Praising my Saviour all the day long. Perfect submission, perfect delight, Visions of rapture now burst on my sight; Angels, descending, bring from above Echoes of mercy, whispers of love. Perfect submission, all is at rest, I in my Saviour am happy and blest, Watching and waiting, looking above, Filled with His goodness, lost in His love. “LIFT HIM UP” How to reach the masses, men of every birth, For an answer, Jesus gave the key: “And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, Will draw all men unto Me.” Lift Him up, lift Him up; Still He speaks from eternity: “And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, Will draw all men unto Me.” Oh! the world is hungry for the Living Bread, Lift the Saviour up for them to see; Trust Him, and do not doubt the words that He said, “I’ll draw all men unto Me.” Don’t exalt the preacher, don’t exalt the pew, Preach the Gospel simple, full, and free; Prove Him and you will find that promise is true, “I’ll draw all men unto Me.”
I was alone and idle, I was a sinner too. I heard a voice from heaven say there is work to do. I took the Master's hand, and I joined the Christian band; I'm on the battlefield for my Lord. I left my friends and kindred bound for the Promised Land, The grace of God upon me, the Bible in my hands. In distant lands I trod, crying sinner come to God; I'm on the battlefield for my Lord. Now when I met my Saviour, I met Him with a smile, He healed my wounded spirit, and owned me as Hs child. Around the throne of grace, He appoints my soul a place; I'm on the battlefield for my Lord. “KEEP ON THE FIRING LINE” If you’re in the battle for the Lord and right, Keep on the firing line; If you win, my brother, surely you must fight, Keep on the firing line; There are many dangers that we all must face, If we die still fighting it is no disgrace; Cowards in the service will not find a place, So keep on the firing line. Oh, you must fight, be brave against all evil, Never run, nor even lag behind; If you would win for God and the right, Just keep on the firing line.

“JESUS, HOLD MY HAND” As I travel through this pilgrim land There is a Friend who walks with me. Leads me safely thro' the sinking sand, It is the Christ of Calvary. This would be my pray’r, dear Lord, Each day to help me do the best I can, For I need Thy light to guide me day and night, Blessed Jesus, hold my hand. Blessed Jesus, hold my hand, Yes, I need Thee ev'ry hour Thru this land, this pilgrim land, By Thy saving pow'r. Hear my plea, my feeble plea, Oh dear Lord, look down on me When I kneel in pray'r, Blessed Jesus, hold my hand. Let me travel in the light divine That I may see the blessed way; Keep me that I may be wholly Thine And sing redemption's song some day. I will be a soldier brave and true And ever firmly take a stand, As I onward go and daily meet the foe, Blessed Jesus, hold my hand. When I wander thru the valley dim Toward the setting of the sun, Lead me safely to a land of rest If I a crown of life have won; I have put my faith in Thee, dear Lord, That I may reach the golden strand, There's no other Friend on whom I can depend, Blessed Jesus, hold my hand. “MAKE ME A BLESSING” Out on the highways and byways of life, Many are the weary and sad; Carry the sunshine where darkness is rife, Making the sorrowing glad. Make me a blessing, make me a blessing; Out of my life may Jesus shine. Make me a blessing, O Saviour I pray, Make me a blessing to someone today. Tell the sweet story of Christ and His love, Tell of His pow'r to forgive; Others will trust Him if only you prove True every moment you live.
Give as 'twas given to you in your need, Love as the Master loved you; Be to the helpless a helper indeed, Unto your mission be true. “HE ABIDES” I’m rejoicing night and day As I walk the narrow way, For the hand of God in all my life I see; And the reason of my bliss, Yes, the secret all is this: That the Comforter abides with me. He abides, He abides; Hallelujah, He abides with me! I’m rejoicing night and day As I walk the narrow way, For the Comforter abides with me. Once my heart was full of sin, Once I had no peace within, Till I heard how Jesus died upon the tree; Then I fell down at His feet, And there came a peace so sweet; Now the Comforter abides with me. He is with me everywhere, And He knows my every care; I’m as happy as a bird and just as free; For the Spirit has control; Jesus satisfies my soul, Since the Comforter abides with me. There’s no thirsting for the things Of the world—they’ve taken wings; Long ago I gave them up, and instantly All my night was turned to day, All my burdens rolled away; Now the Comforter abides with me. “HE SET ME FREE” Once like a bird in prison I dwelt. No freedom from my sorrow I felt. But Jesus came and listened to me, And glory to God, He set me free. He set me free, Yes, He set me free, And He broke the bonds of prison for me. I'm glory bound my Jesus to see, For glory to God, He set me free. Now I am climbing higher each day. Darkness of night has drifted away. My feet are planted on higher ground, And glory to God, I'm homeward bound.

Nehemiah 6:1-13 1
Now it came to pass when Sanballat, and Tobiah, and Geshem the Arabian, and the rest of our enemies, heard that I had builded the wall, and that there was no breach left therein; (though at that time I had not set up the doors upon the gates;)
2
That Sanballat and Geshem sent unto me, saying, Come, let us meet together in some one of the villages in the plain of Ono. But they thought to do me mischief.
3
And I sent messengers unto them, saying, I am doing a great work, so that I cannot come down: why should the work cease, whilst I leave it, and come down to you?
4
Yet they sent unto me four times after this sort; and I answered them after the same manner.
5
Then sent Sanballat his servant unto me in like manner the fifth time with an open letter in his hand;
6
Wherein was written, It is reported among the heathen, and Gashmu saith it, that thou and the Jews think to rebel: for which cause thou buildest the wall, that thou mayest be their king, according to these words.
7
And thou hast also appointed prophets to preach of thee at Jerusalem, saying, There is a king in Judah: and now shall it be reported to the king according to these words. Come now therefore, and let us take counsel together.
8
Then I sent unto him, saying, There are no such things done as thou sayest, but thou feignest them out of thine own heart.
9
For they all made us afraid, saying, Their hands shall be weakened from the work, that it be not done. Now therefore, O God, strengthen my hands.
10 Afterward I came unto the house of Shemaiah the son of Delaiah the son of Mehetabeel, who was shut up; and he said, Let us meet together in the house of God, within the temple, and let us shut the doors of the temple: for they will come to slay thee; yea, in the night will they come to slay thee. 11 And I said, Should such a man as I flee? and who is there, that, being as I am, would go into the temple to save his life? I will not go in. 12 And, lo, I perceived that God had not sent him; but that he pronounced this prophecy against me: for Tobiah and Sanballat had hired him. 13 Therefore was he hired, that I should be afraid, and do so, and sin, and that they might have matter for an evil report, that they might reproach me.
