AUSTIN – Attorney General Paxton has joined a Utah- and Indiana-led motion to intervene into a FederalEnergyRegulatory Commission (“FERC”) proceeding to prevent the investment fund management company Vanguard from exerting too much poweroverpublicly-traded utilities.

Vanguard is seeking a three-year extension of its previously-granted authority to acquire voting securities up to 20% of the ownership in utility

companies Attorney General Paxton’s opposition is based upon Vanguard’sdecisiontojointhe Net-ZeroBankingAlliance and its resulting push to further Environmental Social, and Governance (“ESG”) investing. In the time since Vanguard was given initial authorization to invest in these companies, itspublicactionshave indicated an alarming shift towardcostlyenvironmental activism and a desire to use its financial influence tomanipulatecompaniesto adopt a left-wing climate

agenda.

Allowing Vanguard to continue to invest in these utilitiesandtoexertcontrol over energy sourcing for the American economy will increase costs for consumers as Vanguard promotes less-efficient energy production for the sakeoffulfillingitsdrastic and unreasonable climate goals.

The motion states: “[W]e are concerned that Vanguard’s actions with respect to influencing environmental corporate

policy especially in combination with the stated motives of BlackRockandStateStreet Global Advisors will inflate the rates consumers and our States pay for electrical service Vanguard’s environmental mandates impose costs on its portfolio companies and it is highly plausible that those costs are passed ontoconsumersdirectlyor indirectly by hampering access to capital or foreclosing certain revenue-generating opportunities.”

Choosing the right shampoo will also reduce shedding, skinirritation, and dry, flaky skin. “Suchconditionsinclude flea or tick reactions; allergic skin conditions caused by environmental factors (pollen, grasses, etc ); food allergies; an unbalanced diet; or fungal, bacterial and yeast infections,” Diers said “These problems typically won’t resolve without intervention, so owners should consult their veterinarian if they suspect oneoftheseconditions.”

“Grooming tools are not one size fits all,” Diers shared. “Choose the most comfortable option for your dog and their specific coat type.”

Certain dog breeds that have continuously growing hair need professional haircuts to keep up with shedding. Groomers have access to professional tools and brushes that make

There is a favorite scripture of mine which comes to my mind as we approachabrandnewyear It’sfoundinFirstPeterand is a beautiful way that we may express our faith and life works to God for our salvation through His only Son,JesusChrist:

“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord, Jesus Christ, who according to His great mercy has caused us to be bornagaintoalivinghope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead who are protected by the power of God throughfaithforasalvation ready to be revealed in the lasttime…sothattheproof ofyourfaith

precious than gold, which is perishable may be foundtoresultinpraiseand glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ;…” First Peter1:3, 5,7.

In a few words faith is believing in something which has not yet happened, but is a continuance of our solid belief that we hope it will show in heaven how we waited for God’s promises here.

As I considered “faith”and“hope,”Ifound the two to be very close in meaning. It’s like having pen and paper One can’t have visual and spiritual meaning without the other WhenwetraveledtoEgypt

one summer on the way to Israel, we visited a place which created paper from the pithy stems of the Papyrus plant, very long ago It was that “paper” whichwasusedtowriteout the first words in creating our first Bible It was a great task and took meticulouscareto have all the words correct and properly in line to be read in Jewish Synagogues for alltime.Andtoprovehow the words were correctly translated, the whole Book of Isaiah in the Old Testamentisencased, page bypage, inglassinit’sown building in Jerusalem for all to see That book of Isaiahwasfound, rolledup inatallpotterycasingwith

a top to keep it dry in the caves of a place in the desert outside Jerusalem called “The Qumran caves ” They are located near some caves near Jerusalem.

thethreadoffaithandhope is held together with love. God is Love. He gives us instructionsforthecoming newyearwiththesewords:

“You did not

choose Me, but I chose you…ThisIcommandyou, that you love oneanother.“ John15:16 –17.

So, as we discover many facts which serve to build up our faith….hope follows. From our bedrock of faith, there is an old saying……..”Hopesprings eternal ” It is always reaching forward in expectation of what we may discover even as we read God’s Word for each of us We don’t know what’s to happen in the future. We just “hope” for the best of this life and the nextinearthandheaven. being more
