I am so happy to be around those who are happy, especially at church It’s such a pleasure to see people smiling and glad to be together I’mremindedof this song ”If you’re happy and you know it, clapyourhands!” Ifound a small saying in a book which tells us why we shouldbeabletosmilein any circumstances we may encounter or be goingthroughatthetime: “If we have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, then glory, grace, and truth accompany His presence ” This saying tells us that the presence ofJesusChristinourlives gives us the love and happiness we should carry in our deepest heart ofloveforothers. Why? Because we have a deep love in our hearts for our Maker, God, for His Son, Jesus Christ, andforourHelper, the Holy Spirit How could we not be happy aboutthat?!When I wrote the first three words of this title today, I was reminded of our last trip to Israel, about 8 years ago. Most of us, in our bus, wanted to go to be baptized in the Jordan River where Jesus was baptized However, the tour guide of our bus informed us that he was not qualified as a pastor, to do baptisms So, another lady, who was a pastor, and I, as an Ordained Minister, spoke up and said we would be happytofillthatposition! So the next day we all brought our change of clothes and prepared for the baptism Everyone gathered together for a few songs and a prayer “Oh, Happy Day” was oneofthesongs.Thenthe PastorandIwentintothe water, which was waisthigh, and all lined up to come into the water, one atatime.

Everyone clapped and were happy about that! I’m sure the people related that experience to their loved ones when they all went home from that trip! Later on, we were in Cana and two beautiful, young sisters came up to me and asked if I would lead their parents (who had come with them), in renewing theweddingvowsontheir 35thwedding anniversary, at a little chapel where Jesus had started His ministry So we all gathered in that small chapel where Jesus’s ministry had begun at a wedding, solongago. The two sisters wanted to surprisetheirparents, and asIdidtheceremony, the sisters repeated all I said to their parents in Spanish. They cried in happiness, and it was a very movingtimeforthemand forus.
