Flowers on the Lake/Israeli Flag Raising The Montgomery District Women’s Center and the District Attorney’s office teamed up last week Tu e s d a y, t o b r i n g awareness to survivors of domestic violence, and recognize the support system of their family, friends, and counselors; who stand by survivors in their struggles to regain a normal life. The Fourth Annual ‘Flowers On The Lake,’ ceremony, was held at the Montgomery County Veterans Memorial Park in Conroe. The host of the event was Judge Echo Hutson, County Court at Law No. 4. She served as a former prosecutor with the District Attorney, Brett Ligon’s office. Hutson has worked tirelessly to bring abusers to justice as the chief prosecutor of the Domestic Violence Unit, and now she oversees the cases of

domestic violence abusers that comes through her courtroom. “We support victims and survivors of domestic violence,” said Judge Hutson. “Awareness is about understanding, but it’s hard to understand

Neighboring areas and their current gas prices: - , from last week's . "As air temperatures trend downward as we progress into fall, gasoline prices have seen another week of their own seasonal fall. The national average is on the cusp of falling to the lowest level since March, something that could happen this week," said Patrick De Haan, head of petroleum analysis at GasBuddy. "Demand for gasoline continues to weaken as we get closer to seeing the first snow flurries fly across some areas of the country, and against the backdrop of winter, there isn't as much desire to get out. Coupled with cheaper winter gasoline and refinery issues that have faded to the rearview thanks to the drop in demand, gasoline prices have been weakening even as oil prices have climbed, putting pressure on refineries as margins flatten and gasoline becomes the unwanted byproduct of producing other products like diesel and jet fuel, which command a higher price than gasoline. However, there's only so much refineries can do, because they must produce gasoline at high quantity to get those premium barrels. For now, that trend will likely mean further declines in the weeks ahead, before prices bottom out between Thanksgiving and Christmas." SOURCE GasBuddy

something like domestic violence, in that it is different for each person that experiences it.” Domestic violence has many layers. It happens behind closed doors, and remains hidden and secret, with some victims never sharing their abuse. 1 in 3 women, and 1 in 4 men experience domestic violence in their lifetime, and it is possible to be so close to us, that it flies under our radar. Hutson relayed that domestic violence is multigenerational and children who witness or are exposed to domestic violence have a much greater chance of being a victim or abuser. It takes victims who come forward and speak up, to break the cycle, and escape their abusers. There are many services and resources that the community offers support

to victims of domestic violence, and to members of the community to educate people about ‘red flags,’ about how to be on the lookout for victims. “We pray for those who suffer violence and abuse in unsafe homes,” said General Steve Hummer, DA Chaplain, in his invocation. “And for the children who have experienced brokenness and uncertainty. Everyone loses in those situations, but loss and hurt can be transformed into gain and benefit.” Hummer went on to praise those who work in the DA’s office in the judicial and victims advocates system, as well as those in law enforcement; who demonstrate selflessness to those See Flowers, page 2

Montgomery County District Attorney Brett Ligon’s fiery rhetoric impressed on the crowd that his office means business, when it comes to dealing with domestic violence abusers. Ligon picks a victim case each year. He tells the stories of victims, and makes abusers cringe. The DA prides himself in making the abusers feel like the victims, since the abusers are not in control of their situation, since domestic violence is a crime of control. “The number one risk factor in Montgomery County to be murdered is the fact that you are a female,” s aid D is trict Attorney Brett Ligon. “In this year alone, we have filed over a thousand charges against domestic violence abusers.” Ligon noted that many cries for help are silent, and the victims are unseen. In 2022, MCWC answered 47,674 crisis calls to their hotline, and this year has even been busier. Last year, MCWC had 1056 victims seek shelter on their campuses,

While traveling back from a trip to Colorado this summer, RJOA Member Laura McCracken and RJOA Honorary Member, Ron McCracken decided to take a road less traveled while heading to Fredericksburg, Texas. On Highway 83, just north of Paint Rock, Texas, it was time for a much needed “pit stop”. They found a Historical Marker on our side of the road with ample room for parking for their truck and camper. After taking care of the dogs, Laura started reading the Historical Marker. Wow! She was so surprised to find that they had accidentally come across a Confederate marker! Wasting no time, Laura had Ron snap a picture! After researching John S. Chisum, they discovered that his trail rides to provide beef to the

Confederate Army were all legendary. The trail riders had to confront all kinds of dangers during the trail rides, from raging rivers to Indian raids and rustlers as well as Federal Patrols. In 1872, John Chisum moved his cattle operations to New Mexico territory (it was not a state at this time). In 1878, he was drawn into the Lincoln County Range War which included the likes of Billy the Kid and other desperados. John S. Chisum was often called “The Toughest Man West of the Pecos”. A movie was even made about him! In 1970, John Wayne played John S. Chisum in the movie “Chisum”. It grossed over $6 Million during the opening weekend. To not turn a blind eye, but instead be a voice for the victims. “We remember those voices that can’t speak today,” said Justice of the Peace, Pct. 1, Judge Wayne Mack, in the benediction. “Because many are suffering in silence. Because many have had their lives taken by evil.” Mack asked that as a community, that we bind together and to stand firm, and speak for those who can’t stand up and speak for themselves. “I was in a domestic violence relationship for 19 years,” said survivor Rhonda Bass. She was at the event to put her ordeal past her, and pray for the current and past victims of domestic violence. Her abuse occurred in Houston,

but she now lives in Montgomery County. Bass intends to volunteer to help other victims get through their own ordeals. Following the program portion of the event, Judge Echo Hutson invited attendees down to the lake located on the park grounds, to toss the 2,023 flowers provided for the ceremony into the lake, as a remembrance to those currently suffering from domestic violence, survivors, and those who have died as a result of the fact. Weekly Columns

Make Your Files Findable When You Leave Them To Your Heirs A weekly column by Kent Pendleton

ESTATE & GIVING Living life and facing death can be liberating – and it doesn't have to be hard. Depending on the source, about half of Americans know they should have a will but don't. And a National Library of Medicine study found that in 2017 only a third of us had completed end-of-life forms that outline our wishes for comfort and care during that final transition. Not surprising, maybe, since the process can be confusing and perhaps distressing when considering our own mortality. What may be surprising is the fact that the unpredictable pandemic may have shifted Americans' attitudes toward codifying our wishes in a very practical sense. The why It seems, despite living through a once-in-a-century pandemic, our interest in actually completing the task still wavers. However, top of the list of benefits is

peace of mind – saving cost, time and heartache. Doing the work to have everything in place means medical professionals will be guided by your voice, your loved ones won't have to bear the burden of guessing what you would want, and you'll know that your heirs will receive the accounts and assets that you intended for them. It may not make it easier to say goodbye but should make the aftermath a lot easier. Another beautiful potential benefit, perhaps even the most important one? Quelling the potential for intra-family strife during an already stressful time. Proper planning could help protect sibling and family relationships, which can get ugly when it comes to medical and financial matters. Experts recommend making your wishes clear and communicating them well before your passing, particularly if you're part of a blended family. The what You'll want to put some strong safeguards in place. Ask your medical and financial professionals if

you need any or all of these documents. Don't be intimidated. You don't have to codify everything at once, and many are fairly straightforward. The more emotional tasks like writing letters of love or an ethical will, which outlines your values, may actually be the hardest. Financial power of attorney. Durable powers of attorney give someone permission to make decisions on your behalf – anything from communicating with your cable company to dealing with banking, real estate, business and legal matters. POLST forms outline physician orders for lifesustaining treatment for those with serious conditions, indicating things like whether you'd like CPR, mechanical ventilation, feeding tubes or ICU treatment. Medical power of attorney. Sometimes called a living will or advanced directive, this outlines medical treatments you want and those you don't and authorizes a proxy to make decisions for you. A last will and testament.

Beneficiary forms. For insurance policies, retirement accounts and some other assets, the beneficiary form prevails over the will. A declaration of guardian appoints someone to look after your minor children. A trust. In many states, a living trust can be used to transfer assets and personal property in an orderly and more private manner than a will and can even stipulate special provisions such as age-based distribution so young adults don't inherit all at once. The where and how If you need help getting started, first get organized. Discover what you already have. For example, you may already have a healthcare proxy. From there, make an appointment with an attorney who specializes in estate or elder care law to review what you have and help you fill any gaps. Include your financial advisor to ensure you've made a plan for all relevant assets. You may want to also make an advanced care planning appointment with

your doctor. Often this can be done remotely (two 30minute appointments are covered by Medicare, as is advanced planning for a cognitively impaired patient). Be sure to ask so you'll know what your financial liability may be. Once gathered, store all relevant paperwork in one place. Some prefer a binder in a safe deposit box, but another secure way may be an online vault that allows you to grant differing levels of access to those you trust most. Just make sure your family members and righthand professionals know where to find these important documents and how to access them. The who Last, but certainly not least, make time to share your decisions with those they'll affect. Talk to your loved ones about your healthcare and financial plans and preferences, where important documents live and how to access them. Your advisor can help you set up regular family meetings to address who inherits what and why, as well as other details. Of course, the most important

thing is to take the time to tell your family just how much you love them. Raymond James is not affiliated with any organizations mentioned. Raymond James does not provide legal services. Opinion / Editorial Why Some Democrats HATE Jews Ruben Borjas Jr, Columnist Ruben’s Montgomery Musings This column may upset some, and maybe make some see the light, but it needed to be written. (I’m gonna start writing this every time from now on.) The Hatred of Jews is prevalent on college campuses, as well as in Socialist Democrat cities and states, and around The World. Even Jew-Hating Greta Thunberg posted a

Greta originally posted an A N T I S E M I T I C OCTOPUS symbol on the picture, but then had to repost a picture that was octopus free. Too late. I’ve mentioned the Harvard Jew Haters, of which one has already had

a job offer rescinded because of her open support of Hamas. But it hits close to home as well, and none other than at Texas A&M University, where an International Affairs instructor, Sena Karasipahi, is facing backlash from her students in presenting biased and frankly false information in support of Hamas. Karasipahi’s radical islamism has bubbled to the surface in her classes, and her students have noted that she has referred to Hamas as a charity organization, and a humanitarian group? Really? In her more controversial courses that address Islam and Jihad, the professor demands that students not record or take pictures of her slideshow presentations. Whoever heard of that? No wonder her students rate her online as a radically slanted lefist who misleads her students with inaccurate information and scant references. One student who rated her, said that she lectured, “Israel helped create Hamas like the U.S. helped create Al Qaeda.” College campuses are the mainstay of Jew Hatred in America, but it bubbles up in cities with sizable Muslim populations as well, where they have strength in numbers. Bent Socialist students put so much energy into hatred of Judaism, it is hard to think

that those loons are supposed to be learning to be educated to be productive members of society. They’re completely mad, and it makes you wonder how those Godless souls are going to reconcile their pent up hateful feelings? Will it manifest itself in their attacking Jews themselves or sabotaging businesses, or murder? Who knows. Many Jews were taken aback when Black Lives Matter co-founder Patrisse Cullors, turned on them with their support of Hamas. And I ask where in the Democrat Party are those Jews supposed to go? How long will Biden’s support of Israel hold? The virtue signaling of Black Women and Men fed up with Democrats is most prevalent, and now they may be joined by the Jews in leaving the Democrat Plantation, and moving their support to the Republican Party. That chess move is gonna have the Wimpy Republican Establishment leadership in an uproar with the changing demographics of the new influx of new GOP faces. Radical Islam in America is a terrible thing. It lacks common sense. When you have Palestinian Islamic Scholar Sheikh Yousef Abu Islam, touting all homosexuals, “Should be thrown head first from the rooftop of the tallest

building, and then they should be stoned.” And with one of Hamas’ biggest supporting groups in the U.S. being the LGBTQIAXYZ crowd, you wonder how smart they really are? Not very. I haven’t seen any of these Jew Haters sign up to go to Palestine to fight the Israelis. I’d pay for a few LGBTers to go myself, seeing as Gaza still has a few tall buildings left. But they’re a bunch of blowhards, and won’t fight. I still maintain, if any of them did go, they’d crap their plants immediately on the streets of Gaza. And when they find that Hamas brutally executes and beheads homosexuals in their own ranks, they will have to change their drawers. Check the current status of terrorist commander Mahmoud Ishtiwi, who had sex with another man. His moment of weakness caused Hamas to brutally torture and kill him without a second thought. So why do gays protest Israel? Why do they do it? Do they come from onlychild households and seek attention? Or, do they speak out so as not to be left out? Are they afraid of being canceled? The Left does eat it’s own you know. Do gay Jews in college hate themselves? Socialist Democrat Students do have a right to speak out, but they do not offer any

arguments that make people think. They just repeat the chanted little phrases, which consumes most of their momentary thought processes. Ben Shapiro, who owns the Daily Wire, and does many college campus visits in support of the Young America’s Foundation giving speeches. He is constantly ridiculed by loud obnoxious braindead college students who only have the capacity to say “Free Palestine,” and curse his name. And when they challenge Shapiro, their arguments are so weak that it's laughable. He has to put up with this day in and day out. College students who cannot critically think, are coming out of public, and even private schools, who do not educate them properly. They are the perfect sponges for being populated with Jewish hate that almost has their eyeballs popping out. It cannot be sustained for them to lead a productive and healthy life. Their radical Islamic professors, the purveyors of their students hate, are supposed to be teaching truth and fact. Materials that should enhance their future lives and happiness. All those students are gonna get is a worthless college degree, tons of debt that can’t possibly be paid back, and egos that can’t be maintained.

The Metcalf Minute Vote FOR Prop 4: The Largest Tax Cut in History Howdy fellow Texans! During the upcoming November election, you, the voters, will be heading to the polls to vote on amendments to our state’s constitution. Among the 14 propositions on your ballot, you will have the historic opportunity to authorize the largest tax cut in history by voting in favor of Proposition 4. I was honored to author Proposition 4 during the second called special legislative session this past July. This year the general election date will fall on Tuesday, November 7th. Early voting in-person will begin on October 23rd and will run through November 3rd. The Texas House and Texas Senate arrived at an agreement for an $18 billion tax cut for Texas taxpayers. As part of the agreement, we passed the omnibus property tax relief and appraisal reform package that features this constitutional amendment. The amendment, Proposition 4 on your November ballot, provides the

constitutional authority to implement this historic tax cut. Voting for Proposition 4 will advance $18 billion in tax cuts with nearly $13 billion in property tax compression. Tax compression in this case is simply the use of state funding to reduce your local school district tax rates. The tax compression replaces local revenues by injecting more state revenue to push down the local maintenance and operation tax rates, which will ultimately reduce what taxpayers owe on their local property tax bills. Voting for Proposition 4 will also mean raising the homestead exemption from $40,000 to $100,000 for all homesteads in Texas while maintaining the additional $10,000 homestead exemption for those 65 years of age and older or disabled. This means that Texans 65 years of age and older or disabled will r e c e i v e a $ 11 0 , 0 0 0 homestead exemption. Notably, it also implements a three-year pilot program for a 20% limit increase in

taxable value for commercial properties valued under $5 million which expires on 12/31/2026. Crucially, Proposition 4 also provides for the election of three additional members to a county appraisal district board of directors. This will be a requirement for counties with a population of 75,000 or more in size. Going forward, the appraisal review board (ARB) members will be appointed by the appraisal district board of directors, and at least two of the elected board members must approve an appointed ARB member as a part of a majority vote. This puts the ARB in the hands of the citizens! This is a landmark property tax relief and appraisal reform plan that incorporates policies that Texans have asked for year after year. As someone who has continuously fought for tax relief and appraisal reform in the legislature, I am happy to see that we now have an appraisal cap on commercial property by

limiting the amount on the taxable value of these properties which has never existed before. This is especially important since I have seen some commercial properties’ taxable value increase by over 300% with no limit in place. We also now have elected members of the appraisal district board of directors who have the authority to appoint the ARB members! I am grateful to my colleagues in the legislature, as well as the Speaker, Lt. Governor and Governor for their help in providing Texans with historic results for Texas taxpayers. I encourage everyone to vote FOR Proposition 4. With your vote, you have the ability to codify the largest tax cut in history and to finally give We The People a voice on the value side of the property tax equation, which has been so desperately needed. Remember to mark your calendars and get out to vote by November 7th. Vote FOR Prop 4!

Columns Pet Talk: Protecting Wildlife From Cats A Texas A&M expert says cats put themselves and local wildlife at risk of injury or illness when they hunt other animals. Read on Texas A&M Today B RYA N - C O L L E G E STATION, Oct. 19, 2023 – Cats are hunters by nature, which is why it’s not uncommon for an outdoor cat to bring home a “gift,” l e f t o n t h e i r o w n e r ’s doorstep. Yet Molly Guyette, a third-year Doctor of Veterinary Medicine and veterinary public health and epidemiology master’s student at the Texas A&M S c h o o l o f Ve t e r i n a r y Medicine and Biomedical Sciences (VMBS), says cats put both themselves and local wildlife at risk of injury or illness when they hunt other animals. Protecting Wildlife From Cats “Outdoor cats may only bring home a mouse or bird once every few months, but this is likely a very small reflection of what they are actually up to,” explained Guyette, who studies cats and zoonotic diseases, with links to wildlife health, for her master’s research under the mentorship of VMBS professor Dr. Sarah Hamer. “As natural predators, cats have natural instincts passed down through generations that allow them not only to hunt for food to kill and eat but also to kill prey, even if they’re not looking for a meal.” Cats that are free to roam outdoors, including domestic house cats, can invade and harm native

ecosystems, as they generally hunt any small animal, including rabbits, birds and lizards. “Research has estimated that as many as 4 billion birds, 22.3 billion mammals, and 1.1 billion amphibians and reptiles are killed by free-roaming cats per year in the United States,” Guyette said. “Domestic cats have also been implicated in the extinction of at least 63 species of birds, mammals and reptiles.” Direct contact is not the only way that cats can negatively affect wildlife, either. “Simply the presence of a cat within an ecosystem can cause disturbances in a bird’s ability to forage, feed their young and defend themselves from other predators,” Guyette said. “The No. 1 method of preventing this wildlife predation by cats is to keep cats indoors.” It can be difficult, however, for owners to keep their furry friends indoors and away from local wildlife since cats have a natural inclination to the outdoors. In this case, Guyette recommends owners take measures to protect nearby animals by outfitting cats with an “alarm system” such as a collar with a bell. “While warning devices won’t prevent the predation of nestlings (baby birds) or eggs, and not all wild animals are deterred by them, the use of bells, colorful bibs, or sonic devices on cats can help

Area Churches

some wild animals hear or see when a cat is close so that they can flee,” Guyette said. Owners also should consider why their cat is outdoors, as this impacts what additional measures should be taken. “If your cat loves the outdoors, lying in the sun or playing in the grass, you should let them do so either in an enclosure or leashed and under direct supervision,” Guyette continued. “If cats are kept outdoors due to unwanted behaviors, such as scratching, not urinating and defecating in appropriate areas, or acting a g g r e s s i v e l y, o w n e r s should discuss options with a veterinarian for managing such behaviors and helping their cats feel more comfortable inside.” Protecting Cats From Outdoor Dangers Encouraging cats to stay indoors is also to their own benefit, as cats put themselves in danger when exploring the great outdoors. “Cats that freely roam live a significantly shorter lifespan compared to cats that live inside – only 2-5 years compared to the lifespan of an indoor cat of 10-20 years,” Guyette said. “This is due to a number of factors, whether it is contracting illnesses from other animals; picking up worms, fleas or ticks; or being injured or killed by cars or wildlife, including coyotes and dogs.” Regardless of a cat’s typical living arrangement, owners should have a Living Way Church, 2080 Longmire Rd, Conroe 936-441-8875 Hope Tabernacle Pastor David Whitaker Meets at 18961 Freeport Dr Montgomery 936.582.7722 Thursday 7:30pm Sunday School at 10:00am Sunday Worship at 6:00pm Community And Interdenominational

veterinarian vaccinate them against diseasecausing organisms that can be transmitted between cats, wildlife and, in many cases, humans. One such disease is rabies, for which cats are required by state laws to be vaccinated. “Preventing the spread of rabies is of utmost importance because the rabies virus can easily spread through bites or scratches from infected animals, leading to neurological signs (like seizures or paralysis) and death,” Guyette said. “Typical suspects that are at a higher risk for transmitting rabies to cats include bats, skunks, foxes, coyotes and raccoons.” Another disease that can spread between cats, wildlife and humans is toxoplasmosis, caused by the parasite Toxoplasma gondii, the symptoms of w h i c h i n c l u d e f e v e r, fatigue, and if left untreated, may lead to eye damage. “Cats are critical in the transmission of toxoplasmosis because the disease requires a cat as part of its life cycle,” Guyette explained. “Cats become infected when they consume an infected host, such as a rodent or infected raw meat. Infected cats shed the parasite for less than two weeks, but if the parasite matures for more than 24 hours in cat feces, it can become infectious to others, particularly p r e g n a n t o r immunocompromised

people.” Finally, external (fleas and ticks) and internal (roundworms and heartworms) parasites can transmit disease between cats and wildlife. In fact, outdoor cats are more prone to spread parasites and other illnesses, according to Guyette. “Outdoor cats come into contact with more parasites in the environment and can contribute more to the spread of internal parasites as compared to indoor-only cats,” she explained. “Outdoor cats can also spread to other cats a disease called feline leukemia, a highly contagious virus that can lead to a lifelong suppressed immune system.”

Free-roaming cats can incite danger for both wildlife and themselves; to protect them, reduce the spread of contagious illnesses, and give them the c h a n c e a t a l o n g e r, healthier life, owners should consider methods for keeping their lovable felines at home. Community Attn: Marketplace Vendors For “Christmas In Historic Montgomery”

Shoppers have all day to find great, unusual Items at the Marketplace. G E T Y O U R APPLICATIONS IN TO B E PA R T O F T H I S YEAR'S EVENT: DECEMBER 9, 2023 The holidays are just around the corner, and Montgomery County's oldest Christmas celebration is rapidly approaching on December 9. The Montgomery Historical Society has received several Vendor Applications, but there is still room for more. Don't miss out! R e t u r n i n g v e ndors—Don't lose the opportunity to secure your booth space (or spaces) for the Marketplace, a major part of the “Christmas in Historic Montgomery”! Once a particular type of item has been signed up, we try not to duplicate it at a competing booth. (Jewelry and candle booths are good examples…It helps no one if there are three very similar vendors or duplicate brands participating.) Potential new vendors can be assured of hordes of people visiting their booth (or booths) from 9:00a to 5:00p at this decades-long, citywide community event on the grounds surrounding the Community Building at 14420 Liberty Street, smack-dab in the middle of the Historic District. New vendors must

be approved before applying, to prevent multiple duplications. Vendors selling food items must secure any required permit from the Montgomery County Health Department, as well as any permit required by the City of Montgomery. Over 70 talented, artsy and inventive local vendors offer their homemade, unusual items to the public, and visitors can expect to find a myriad of items for sale—often one-of-a-kind—at great prices for everyone on Christmas gift lists. There will be old-fashioned, Texana, country, etc., Christmas and décor to purchase. New residents to our area can find items to add to their décor to accentuate their new homes or offices. Booths are around 10'x10' at a cost of $85.00, or $115.00 for a booth with electricity. Vendors must bring their own tents, tables, chairs. Printed Marketplace Applications and the Vendor Letter with details including rules, can be found at City Hall, at Rustic Cashmere, Antiques & Gifts, at the N. H. Davis Museum Complex (WedSat) or on the Montgomery Historical Society website: MHS-TX.org. (See QR Code below.) How does the booth

assignment work? Only booths requiring electricity OR multiple (requiring side-by-side booths) will be assigned and clearly marked as reserved. Other spaces are first-come / first-served, which means that, when vendors show up—no earlier than 7:00a.m.—they park nearby and look for an available spot with no sign noting it is reserved. Unloading can be done in the on-site parking lot, but unloading must be swift, and then vehicles moved outside the grounds. Drop a couple items in an unreserved spot to signal it is “taken,” They proceed to unload their vehicles/trailers into their chosen spot and drop c o n t a i ners/tables/chairs/tent. Once unloaded, their vehicles must be moved out of the Community building parking lot to a spot, along the outside of the rock fence, or across the street from the Community Building in a grassy area. Vendors MUST observe any “No Parking” signs—any vehicle parked there for longer than unloading, are subject to be towed at the owner's expense. Any vendor who moves a sign from an assigned booth will be dismissed from this event and they

will lose their booth fee. If, however, there is a valid reason someone with a reserved booth needs to have a different spot, they must contact Bea Rouse for approval before doing so. The Montgomery Historical Society, founded in the 1950s, produces this, their main fundraising event, every December with proceeds going toward maintaining the seven historic buildings owned by the Society and a yearly scholarship for deserving seniors from MISD's two high schools. ‘Pet of the Week’ Meet TEX. A lovable 3 year old French BullDog, owned by Stevie Platt, of The Woodlands. Tex accompanied Stevie, or vice versa, to the recent Slice of Amish anniversary party, and it is quite evident that Tex enjoyed himself at the festivities. Tex was a companion to a German Shepherd that Stevie previously had. Tex is a finicky eater, and enjoys his toys. He loves and craves the personal attention he constantly gets, of which Tex totally deserves. Good Luck TEX, and congratulations on being MCNs ‘Pet of the Week’. TEX, being looked after by a friend at the recent Slice of Amish anniversary party.
