NEW PEER MINISTRY TEAM HOPES TO INSPIRE BY EXAMPLE
The Campus Ministry Office is proud to re-introduce a unique, faith-based ministry made up of student leaders. The Peer Ministry Team's mission is to inspire and motivate by example and to encourage students to engage in faith-based activities at the school and in their communities. "We want to increase opportunities for students to grow in their faith," explained Theology teacher and Peer Ministry advisor, Ms. Katie Wall. "We think that providing opportunities lead by the students, themselves, will make them more meaningful and desirable." Many alums might remember earlier versions of Peer Ministry when they were at Montini Catholic. The reinvigorated team is excited about the opportunities to interact with their fellow students and grow in their own faith. Peer Ministry was open to all seniors who had to submit an application and participate in an interview before being selected as leaders of this important group. Read more about the Peer Ministry Team and their members including Patrick Burke, son of Ed Burke '88, Bella Reilley, daughter of Michael Reilly '78, and Grania O'Flaherty, daughter of Peggy Batten O'Flaherty '87.
