PATRICIA '04 & SAM '07 VLAHOS RESTAURANTEURS If you live in the Western Suburbs of Chicago, specifically near Downers Grove, you've probably been waiting for the opening of Pierce Tavern. Patricia '04 and Sam '07 Vlahos just opened their latest restaurant and "West Suburban Living" recently featured the Vlahos' and their recipe for success in creating distinctive dining establishments. Patricia and Sam have been around the restaurant industry since a young age. Their father owned Jonathan's and JT's Porch in Lombard, now it's the siblings turn. Their first restaurant, Fuller House in Hinsdale is known for being a favorite Blackhawk bar in the area. ALUMNI & KIDS INVITED TO HOMECOMING All children of alumni are invited to join us for our Homecoming Football game on Friday, September 21st as the Broncos take on the Mustangs from St. Rita. The sophomore game begins at 5:00pm, followed by the varsity game at 7:30pm. All grade school students are admitted free into the game and should check in at the Admissions table inside the stadium to receive a concession stand coupon for a complimentary hot dog, chips, and soda/water. Alumni grade school children will be entered into a drawing for a $35 spirit store gift card.
Alumni are invited to the Alumni End Zone Tent and can check in for a concession stand coupon for complimentary food. Come watch the Broncos and visit with fellow alums.
7TH HEAVEN TO RETURN TO MONTINI Mark your calendar for Saturday, October 20th when 7th Heaven will return to Montini Catholic's Harvest Moon Howl. The Howl features two hours of beer, wine, spirit and food tastings along with a full service bar, capped off with a performance by 7th Heaven. Over 400 people had a howlin' good time last year - look for tickets to go on sale soon.
